One would think It wouldnt be a heating issue since I have two fans >.> lol
Make sure you get as much dust as possible out of there. Dust can greatly mitigate any usefulness a fan brings. If it looks especially dusty in there, you may have to take the plastic cover off of your graphics card. I've seen dust packed into those so hard that the heat sink was entirely insulated. Zero air was reaching it.

I should read more carefully. I blame it being morning here. My bad.

I would like to play a support/tank templar. I'd like to have a shield. Can anyone recommend me a build and/or general tips? : )

Is freezing pulse +20% quality enough or do you need faster projectiles with it? I am debating on whether to use faster projectiles or cold penetration

If you want outofscreen kills you want both.

They will hit SO hard that you need some skill to keep you alive (-> AoE-Lifeleech or something which keeps you moving [->WhirlingBlades].

On February 16 2013 00:59 TS-Rupbar wrote: I would like to play a support/tank templar. I'd like to have a shield. Can anyone recommend me a build and/or general tips? : ) try this to start, once you get to resolute techniques you'll probably have a general idea of what you want to do
grab the marauder hp nodes, take the two nearby endurance charge nodes, grab conduit and take inner force on the way, grab the shield ring with spell block, take any nearby shield passives with +block%, take any nearby +%allresist, and maybe take blood magic or eldritch battery if mana is an issue (not necessarily in that order)
attacks: all of them are pretty decent. aoe stuff is good for leveling. take one or both of leap/shield charge
spells: you definitely want molten shell, tempest shield, enduring cry, probably immortal cry as well
auras: determination, clarity (don't level it too much), maybe other stuff if you have free mana (but you probably won't lol)
if you take conduit you might want to run frenzy to generate frenzy charges

.. is this the right place to ask this question? im gonna start today and would love some tips on how/where to start .. If you've never played an ARPG before then just do whatever, you'll figure it out eventually. If you have played an ARPG before then the resources I would strongly suggest you look at are the quest rewards list on the wiki, and the passive tree on the main website. Look over what skills are in the game and get an idea for what kind of character you'd like to play, and from there using both the quest reward list and the passive tree figure out which class you'd like to start with. For example: The moment I saw there were summons in this game, I found the class that needed the fewest levels to get all the minion related skills (Witch) and played that. Then I wanted a character with a bow yet I didn't want to rely on gear that had +elemental damage% so I made a Ranger and built her for physical damage. Right now I saw some of the skills on the shadow side of the tree (namely life on hit and mana/life leech) and am currently playing what I hope to be a tanky/DPS dual wielding claw shadow that may or may not use CI (Chaos Innoculation). Also, wiki Keystone and Notable nodes on the passive tree, they're pretty cool and many builds are focused solely around them. (Keystone Nodes are the biggest ones on the outside of the tree and a few in the middle).
OOOOOOHHHhh So this is how it's played. Nice, now I understand. I want to make a Tanky Necromancer so first I'll go Templar to have a tanky gears then I'll level a Witch and spam minions like hell and then go back to Templar! Woooot!!!~~!

Is it still possible to do a thorns build with molten shell and what have you? Or a melee build using that unique whose name I cannot remember? I'm kinda bored of LA rangers, pulse templars and double totem IL
|
How much is crown of thorns even worth? Got one a while back, the item just seems kinda weird... Pain attunement seems like a risky passive to try to make use of.

Hello Community!
A group of my buddies and I have been working on a site which will convert a inputted value of currencies and outputs it as single currency value. A reason why we thought this would be a good idea is because during trades either on forums, or even in game we have noticed a issue where people get offered a huge amount of currencies and can't tell if that offer is higher than the previous. With this tool, you will be able to input the value of the offer, and you can see how much it is worth in, Exalted Orbs values, GCP value or even in a Chaos Orb value.
We will be monitoring the marketplace values on currencies daily and try out best in updating the value of each currency to make it as accurate as possible.
This was made for the community so we hope that the community will also contribute and help us maintain the correct values on the currencies on the Hardcore League and Default League.
If you have any questions please feel free to send me a PM, or email us at admin@poecalc.com!
