Ironically, I've been trying to pick up life gain on hit with a new marauder on HC, and so far, I've gotten murdered twice doing it. The first time I died at Prisoner's Gate to blue goatmen mobs leap slamming me to death. The second time, I mistook the Ship Graveyard Cave for The Coves and accidentally pulled a bunch of blue flicker strike mobs. I managed to get a portal up, but desynced and wasn't able to reach it in time. It's actually amazing how quickly you can progress through act 1 once you know what you're doing. I think it took me a solid 10 hours or so to clear the prison on my first character. But on those two marauders, it took under an hour. Feels good. | ||

Just wait until you pick up a few good twink items to run through even faster. There are a few level 1 uniques that make gem running even more of a joke. | ||

Yeah found a Silverbranch on my Marauder so when I lost him in A2 Cruel I rolled a Ranger and A1 was a complete faceroll haha. Unlimited mana to spam burning arrow/lightning arrow. | ||

Almost every fight is monster group and u use 1-2 MAYBE 3 skills if its a higher end blue group rinse and repeat.... u literally go through the whole game using the same shit, no dynamics | ||

You max 1 skill switch between it and a utility and your good to go! Whats unique is the builds, events, and the end game. | ||

I'm trying to find some decent gear, or at least 1 piece, so I can make another char that uses it, but I'm finding that's not too easily done. I mean, should I just get as high and rich as I can so I can just buy that sort of stuff instead? What do you guys do? | ||

No i played d2 back in the day i had a mule of 40 soj's... and an ae ith sword barb, i have played d3 recently... which although the combat was better then this was still pretty plain. Guess ive out grown the boring play that d3 poe represent | ||
