Arteta and Benayoun were what Wenger was left with. That's what happens when you leave the transfer business to the last few hours. Kaka was there for the taking. 90mil buys you some serious firepower. I think we can get a team made out of this, but does anyone seriously consider this a step up from Cesc and Nasri? 4th is the outside hope of what we can achieve with this team. | ||

I like Mertesacker though.. that having been said his inclusion means they need to really stop playing that high line, hes going to get butchered.. a more efficient method would be to have a Vermaelen (please get fit for gods sake) or Kosceilny (puke) play the more aggressive centerback while he plays his way which is very traditional.. I really really hope they do well though its really sad to see this happening but Yea Id say theyll give liverpool some stiff competition.. Champions league qualification being the most realistic objective is a pathetic fall from grace.. | ||
