So there you have it, that's why pep didn't rest him(not that messi would agree if pep wanted to anyway), he knows how big of an influence he is. That is a really stupid stat to use. Of course if a player scores you have more chance to win. If ANY player scores you have more chance to win. That's a useless stat that shows nothing. You know Paul Robinson has a 100% win rate when he scores? Must be the best player in the world then!
You just went full retard there, xPP, sawm explained it.
Personally I'd pick Toure over Bousquets every single day. Ofc I'm biased cause he started from my team(Olympiakos) but I think that his pace, scoring and long passing abilities are way better than Bousquets. Also he has more class and a bossy dribbling style. I would also pick Neymar above Cr7.

Neymar is not proven in both the prem and the liga, how you can pick him over cr7 is beyond me.
Maybe bench but seriously instead of cr7 o.O??

I know, but just something tells me this kid will be big. Cr7 is the obvious choise though I don't disagree with that.

Twisted would you seriously take Busquets in your 'imba team of the year'? Or are you just de facto defending a Barcelona player because your middle name is Barcelona?
And in terms of Busquets v Iniesta...you honestly can't be serious. It's not even remotely close. Busquets definitely is in the top 10 of DMs. He does everything that is expected of a good DM. First off, he is a good interceptor of the ball and can make challenges to win the ball (this isn't his main strength though). Second, he is almost always a good outlet for passing to when other Barcelona players are under pressure which is one of the reasons why Barcelona have such dizzying possession rates. Third, he can always find the open player to pass to (usually one of the more imaginative players) as reflected by his ridiculous passing success percentages.
Busquets will rarely lead a charge up the pitch like Toure or have the creativity and skill of Iniesta, but he does everything that is expected of a DM and does it very well. Barcelona would not be improved by replacing Busquets with one of Song, Parker, Cambiasso or Gustavo, but those teams would definitely be helped with the addition of Busquets because he would help control possession far more than they currently do.

Robinho was never as good as neymar, robinho never knew how to shoot and neymar is a great shooter. Plus robinho never performed at important matches and neymar plays his best at those. I can't confirm that neymar is going to be better than CR7 or messi, but you saying he's gonna be another robinho at best doesn't make you look cool, it actually just shows what you are, uninformed about him.

Busquets is probably one of the smartest DMs in the world, but one thing he can't do those last ditch sliding tackles. Aside from that, he is by far the best in world. You can't compare two different players like iniesta and busquets.

Pretty sad to see Robben getting booed every time he touched the ball by Bayern Munich fans last night :/

Barca stopped destroying the opposition once Toure left, says enough imo.
Oh yea they flopped hardcore because they didnt havem Toure, wonder how it went The year before this... Oh thats right... Sigh, really the stupidity.
Busquets is probably one of the best around.. High IQ, good tackler and prob the distribution out of the back amongst DMs. The unsavory aspects and his ridiculous behavior aside.
Yaya is a boss and frankly he needed to leave because he wasnt getting the chance to express himself and maximize ability. He is a better player today then he was at Barca but making it sound like he was the lynchpin that made Barca dominate is pretty ridiculous. Would he improve Barca if he were there ? Yeah, but he could do that to any team, its unfortunate timing with having to leave but thats how it is and I personally think his versatility is unequalled at the moment.

Not confirmed he is going to China yet anyway. In his interview with Chelsea TV i watched he said he is going to rest for 1-2 weeks before he makes his descion. I personally hope he goes to make money in the MLS as he could play for like another 5-6 years there on good money and in a good city/area for whoever he plays for.
On the Busquettes debate, i personally think Keita is better than him due to the face Keita has better sharpness in front of goal and has scored some important goals for Barca too. Like when Toure played in that position for Barca not only was he solid defensively for them he also got forward and scored important goals.

It's only natural people are just frustrated. He failed on a couple of big occasions this season and his arrogance makes him an easy target.

All you Barca supporters still havent realised why Barca has won nothing this year, right?
It's their inability to score goals and Busquets is a large part of it.
|
Busquets is a good DM, no denying that, probably top 5. Best in the world? Not a chance in hell. He can pass, sure, but he just can't tackle or finish for the life of him. So he is just an outlet for spreading play in barcelona - something he is undoubtedly good at, but not enough to make him best in the world.
Mascherano is actually better DM than him imho, it's just that they happen to play for the same team now >_>

Didn't he only just sign a contract extension earlier? Pre the final etc? Rumour was going Juventus but i swear he signed a new deal at Bayern few days later.
