Carrol isn't so bad either, he's actually been playing alright after shaking off his injuries at the start of the season, he just needs to start scoring if he's to be taken seriously.

Some years ago Villareal with Pelegrini got to the Champions League semifinals. Yesterday They descended to the Second Division (and Villareal B has to descend too because they cant be in the same division).

Well in France four clubs that were champions in the late 90s/early 00s are now in second division (Monaco(97,00), Nantes(95,01), Lens(98) and Auxerre(96)).

Sad to see him go.It was also cool how Pippo scored the winning goal for Milan, in his last game for them, yesterday.

It was bound to happen.. £1Billion pounds in 4 years should win you a title.. its sad to see your now a plaything for a sheik but well done on your title.. Lets see if you keep it up and lets hope your owner doesnt get bored otherwise thats the end of your club. (Ref portsmouth) edit: Also juve going unbeaten is an amazing feat. edit#2 I wonder if anybody will impliment FFP rules eventually..

I haven't really kept an eye on Spain this year. Could anyone clue me in on how this collapse happened? Was Rossi's injury that devastating? FInancial problems.. had to sell Cazorla, no Rossi were the obvious reasons. Rossi alone wouldve done enough to keep them safe. Went through coach after coach after coach all year. No stability and things to just keep spiralling sometimes. Especially when things like player motivation go terminal.. honestly alot of their games they werent terrible or anything they just didnt have any goals in them that was the main problem again going back to losing Rossi. Falcao being a beast on the last day and dumping them out didnt help. It was pretty last minute stuff to just didnt get any fanfare. Its probably the epitome of what financial mismanagement has been doing to many clubs in Spain. Unless your lucky enough like a Bilbao or a Betis to have your cheap/free incoming talent to fire you are always facing relegation.. after all there were only 15 points between third and the relegation zone on the last day 40 odd points in liga arent safe at the moment.

I dont see how you can whine about people employing a culture the league has helped to foster. If they were worried about it theyd have stopped it. Otherwise saying that stuff just sounds bitter. I dont like this way of winning either but im not going to say things like "plaything of the Sheikh". But I guess people cant help how they feel and they need to express it. As for buying players you can afford. The debt situation says otherwise, but what do I know. Apparantly buying beyond your means is ok as long as "you dont do it more than us". Thats what it sounds like to me. Frankly the only one who can put his money where his mouth is on these issues is Wenger.

Its my honest thoughts, i think they are the best team, i am not bitter i just am looking at the entire picture, they should be the best team.. If anything they should have done better in europe! I personally am more impressed by swansea and wigan who have stayed up and played amazingly Man utds debt is a discussion for another day, Your owner took over a club and spent 1000 million.. our owners took over a club and saddled it with 700 million (now 500)of debt and we are working it off my tops of the season Wigan Swansea Norwich Flops Blackburn Liverpool Villa.

Next team with Lotina as trainer will fall for sure :D
