It's not a garbage league, the fact that only 2 teams have a chance at the title is a totaly different thing, and how would a strike demonstrate that it is not a good league?
Acquired on Wednesday, Flown to LA on Thursday, trained and did a press conference on Friday, played and scored on Saturday night. MLS is already pushing Keane gear on the web, pretty fast.

Premier League different champions in the last 5 years: 2 (ManU and Chelsea) Spanish La Liga: 2 (RM and Barça) Premier League different champions in the last 10 years: 3 (ManU, Chelsea and Arsenal) Spanish La Liga: 3 (RM, Barça and Valencia)
La Liga can hardly be described as garbage because it features the two best teams in Europe, but the rest of the league lag behind England, Germany and possibly Italy in terms of quality.
The reality is that no other team has a chance in the Spanish league outside the top two. How anyone can argue against this is beyond me. That Valencia win was something of an aberration. Even if a team did take it one year, immediately the team would be broken up and the players moved on to the top two or the big teams in Europe.
Just look at the bookmakers odds for winning the league
La Liga Barca 5/7 Madrid 7/5 Valencia 209/1 Villarreal 370/1 Sevilla 420/1 Atl Madrid 400/1
EPL Utd 13/8 Chelski 14/5 City 7/2 Liverpool 12/1 Arsenal 20/1 Tottenham 55/1
Really Spain should distribute its television revenue more evenly than it currently does to improve the quality of its league. The reality is that, whilst the top two teams will attract more or less whoever they want, the quality of their league is suffering and will soon be overtaken by Germany. Germany even poses a threat to the EPL in the long run because it has everything in place. Lets be honest, no one outside Spain is interested in La Liga games which dont feature atleast one of the top two.
Whilst England has lots of big clubs, it only really has two powerhouse teams, Liverpool and Manchester United in terms of support, but the Arabs millions has made Chelsea and Man City giants in the game. The finances in the EPL are mindblowing.

Surprise! :D
Now look at the points gap between them.
I think last year the gap between 2nd and third was larger than the scottish leagues...

yeah this is pretty much the reason its just as bad as the spl but it has two teams who can play football a bit well, also going into administration means nothing so unless you play in the top two teams you dont get paid
people need to stop their plastic love of barcelona or real cloud what is a really poor league in every aspect apart from a few big games a season

That would be a terrible idea. Imagine all the controversy and fighting that already goes on in the Classicos and multiply that. That would just be tiresome and boring by the end.
lol you clearly no nothing about the epl if you honestly believe that and the quality of the two best teams isnt indictative of the quality of the league as a whole those 4 games a season that they have doesnt make la liga good
the championship is a more entertaining league than la liga

IT IS a garbage league, cumulated debts: 4 Billion Euro.
Hopefully those clubs will get f*cked by the Financial FairPlay Regulations

what the hell, you're on some sort of crusade against la liga?
just because two teams are much better than the others doesn't make the league bad.
I would never in a million years watch Tottenham - Liverpool instead of Atletico Madrid - Villareal.

hahaahahahahahah
that isn't even an argument. What does the debt have to do with quality of the teams or the entertainment value of the league?????
or youre just dont know anything about la liga.if manu, best epl team gets crushed everytime they play barcelona, the fact that the other spanish teams loose to barca doesnt prove that theyre terrible, just that nobody can compete against rm/barca atm. my point being:put rm and barca in the epl,and the gap between 2nd and 3 would be gigantic too

united knocked barca out when they won the champs league last
the year after that (two years ago) barca was lucky as all hell to make the finals. they should have lost that last leg by a million miles, if the referee wasn't actually blind and retarded.
barca is the best team on the planet. but they're not a world away from other teams. at their best, barca will beat anyone hands down. but when they have a bad day, they're very, very vulnerable.
it's just a football team: they're all human and everyone makes mistakes ><;;;
yeah it would be gigantic and it would make the league terrible, no one is doubting the quality of real madrid or barcelona just the way the league operates

Yes but that doesn't make La Liga and EPL bad leagues.
