If he reads the line any keeper at his level will just take the steps back he needs and plod it over. Hes duped into moving the wrong way thats why it goes over him. Hes not off his line which Hart was (is a few yards) and I said on form hes the best keeper at the moment. Czech worrying about getting hit has nothing to do with that save anyway.

Any goalkeeper will be off their line with the ball in that sort of position. You never really want to be on your line unless your defence are already incredibly deep. Being slightly off the line narrows every angle down for you, and it also gives you a head-start if you're required to charge out.
He's barely at full height when it goes over him, with the time wasted back-pedalling he mightn't have had time to jump up. Hard to call, but I don't think he could've done anything more than he did. He has to move to his right because he doesn't know the ball is going to swerve until it swerves; nothing wrong on his part in my book.
I didnt say there was anything wrong with being off his line thats totally textbook goalkeeping. Thanks for the tip though. I just said that played into the ball going over him. Pointing that out as usual is irrelevant. However the point is there was a gap that there to be exposed.
No Czech couldnt have done anything more than he did he was duped. No keeper on the planet can judge that bend. In neither case did the keeper do anything wrong, there was nothing either keeper could do I dont see why thats even a point of discussion. And you just said it. It's a family wedding. Don't ruin it. Don't ask them if it's ok to watch the game instead. Even if they tell you that it's ok, they won't mean it, they will want you there with them. Do the right thing son.

Haha, they hadn't thought about it until it was too late to change (she wasn't having any of it lol)! Sucks though! He supports Man U but even so he is really gutted he won't get to watch it lol.
Also my luck is pretty shit because chelsea happen of course to be in the FA cup final today but I am in the Netherlands for the first ever non-UK gig my band has even done! Terrible luck but hopefully I will catch the game on a bar TV.

Ramsey is the main problem. Hes not comfortable playing there at all. You lose midfield other team starts to look good pretty much. Missing Arteta bigtime no Diaby either. And Song is good but need more steel in there. So its not like Wengers spoilt for choice.

I'm not just talking about Szczęsny. We're getting outplayed in every department. Absolutely dire.
Theyve settled in now and playing fine, could be better but its a hard with the way theyre set up. I think they just got caught off by Norwichs response to the goal. They are no mugs either.
