UEFA events are always something to watch, that Falcao go was loltastically good. It was such a ridiculous attempt as well, it was about as disadvantageous a position as he could have got in after being ahead of the defence and in on the keeper. Switched it to his (wrong foot?) left foot and blasted it from a 90 degree angle, pretty much needed to hit the bar lol. Amazing.
It was the best position to shoot from that he could manage all things considered from the get go. He was in behind the defense temporarily, not even close to in on goal. The defense recovered well, he had no chance of getting in with his pace at any point, I dont know what would make you think that, but working the space was the best option thats half the brilliance of the goal, it certainly wasnt disadvantageous.
Also Falcao is 2 footed. He has a dominant right foot, but he has no "weak" foot per say. Hes been banging in heavy strikes with his left for a couple of years now.

Yea no one attacks in the Champions league, they are either defend deep (cuz they feel like it to avoid "mistakes") or "possession football'. Fucking drag is what it is. GO Europa !

Ah okay that's pretty interesting, I didn't know he was so good on his left foot. I still think you could debate your first point, he was really far behind the defence.
By the way I have to say, the standard of goalkeeping in BBVA seems to be way worse than in EPL. Anyone care to correct me?

Not really sure about that, BBVA have some absolutely fantastic keepers, but also some less than brilliant ones I suppose. Same goes for PrL.

BVB can clinch the German Championship today, 2nd year in a row!

Oh boy Real - Barca today ^^

BVB title excites me more than El Classico :D

Arsenal look so fragile at the back. It'll be a long time before we can mount a serious title challenge. Makes me depressed.
Di Matteo must've given Lady Luck some tongue....

Not really that fragile, per say. I think Arsenals defenders have been pretty ace considering the positions theyve found themselves in at times.
Chelsea are dropping really deep. The problem is Arsenal is sloppy as fuck with the ball thats putting their defense under alot of pressure. Chelsea are good enough to pick their runners and eventually one of em will slip through. The second they got braver later in the half Arsenal started getting chances and Chelsea may have inadvertantly gotten Arsenal into rythm. Well see how it ends up. Sagna needs Walcott to cover for him. Its pretty silly everytime Sagna overlaps and the ball is lost Walcott is MIA instead of tracking back. Pretty subpar game so far. Chelsea playing pretty well all things considered.

Is there a team more unfortunate than Arsenal when it comes to injuries? We've had so many (a lot of them severe) over the years, it's ridiculous. I swear Wenger is the unluckiest manager when it comes to signing injury prone players.

If we didn't lose arteta, our passing game would be much better.

Am I the only Barca fan who's not excited about El Clasico anymore? Because I know it's gonna be a shitfest with Real playing rugby and Barca players lying on the pitch every minute.

I'm hoping their midweek exertions will make the players play loose and result in goals.

terrible game, chelsea put out their worst team because they actually believe they can beat barca, rofl
el classico is generally awful, loads of fouls and stoppages for "injured" players, such a waste considering the talent out there

In the 5-0 Clásico Barça played the best football I've ever seen.
The 2-6 wasn't too shabby either, specially exciting considering RM scored first.

Those were the only two good El Clasicos since Pep. Ever since Mourinho took control of Real Madrid except the 5-0 trashing all Clasicos were shitfest with Real playing rugby instead of football.

Most of the RM defensive line are actually quite unstable, specially when losing.
Marcelo steps on players in the ground for fun (Pedro). Sergio Ramos just becomes even more stupid than normal in the last minutes and starts hitting everyone. Arbeloa and Xabi Alonso are overall dirty.

As much as I am looking forward to the Classico, I'm not particularly fond of either side (leaning towards Madrid though).
I'm more excited for the BVB match. A win today means the nail in the coffin for Bayern, and Dortmund are back to back champions ^^ Let's go Dortmund!!!! Of course, if Bayern don't win today, that would be the end of them.
