I'm heartbroken to see him leave. Such a great and classy player.

Damnit, I thought Raul was great in Schalke I wonder if they are determined to turn Pukki into a real danger now, the Finnish national team desperately needs one.
Can't decide which match to watch tonight -.-

Dude, Real Madrid should have done that things two years ago. "Florentino Perez" Madrid has destroyed all the Madrid Reputation. They kicked him so fast without any tribute.

Barcas main problem is they have noone to cross the ball into the box to head it in. Countless times I saw Alves cross the ball into the box for there only to be 1 or 2 players and most of the time it was messi. Although Messi had 1 stellar header they really need to find a top talent to play big target man in the box (RvP).

David Villa's injury really has hampered them at times.

Exactly 1 year ago Barcelona had just lost from Arsenal on the island. Again they had lost many chances, 3-4 of them were clear 1-1s with the keeper and villa had lost most of them. So, doesn't matter much that he's missing lol.
Anyway, Chelsea will suffer the same fate with Arsenal.

If you wanna base villas contributions to barcelona on one game then I guess he is kinda useless

If Barca had Villa they'd be top of La Liga at the moment I'm quite sure. Many games he was missed. Also Fabregas is a worthless buying just like Ibra was. They're having the same seasons as well. Score a few goals and assists during first half of season then do shit all after winter.

IMO people and clubs have to give players at least a year to adjust to the new club and play style before calling them a worthless buy. I.e Zidane sucked his first season at juventus but he obv didn't fail.

I'm all for that but fact is Barca didn't need Cesc this year or maybe even next year.My biggest problem is Pep is in love with him and plays him practically every match even though he's been shit and out of form for a while. And then he goes and puts him in the attack trio (fuck sake he's not a false 9) or in some matches you had Barca playing 3-3-4 which or puts him in midfield and puts Iniesta as an inside forward which he isn't, the team needs Bossquets & Xaviesta in the midfield because nobody compliments Xavi like Busquets and Iniesta does. Shit drives me insane.

Athletico winning 1-0 to Valencia. I hope for a Athletico vs Athletic final xDDD
|
I thought Cesc had barca dna, was born to play for them, why would it take so long to adjust (I jest)
But David Villa is an insanely good forward.
edit: Falcao isn't too shabby either. Forlan/Ageuro who?

Falcao is a great forward. After the inhuman and absurd 41 goals from Messi and Cristiano in "La Liga", He is the next scorer with 22 goals xD

A joke of a red card?

Sporting is pretty much dominating this game, i'm really loving the way they're playing right now.

Cesc's had a dip in form the latter half of the season. Villa had the same problem. Cesc couldnt stop scoring when he first arrived. Its just a matter of ironing out issues. Villa when he was fit and playing was mostly stuck outside on the left because Messi seems to always "HAVE" to play in the middle, so his effectiveness was significantly reduced. Fabregas was brought in to solve that problem, doing his surge late from midfield thing, neither of which Xavi and Iniesta have been historically good at. Hes a perfectly capable false 9, everyone was singing praises when he was doing well, its just a dip nothing to get to uppity about. Cant be perfect all the time, as much as fans would like that to be the case.
That having been said Cesc needs to shape up and stop missing chances, hes been doing that since the break quite often now. Alot of those chances he botched Villa wouldnt probably not even be able to get in some of those positions just because of the way he was employed. The others he would've buried. They were wasting him out on the left. Hes a bonafide goal scorer and needs to be played where hes best. Messi is good everywhere. He gets his own way a bit too much perhaps.

So can anyone explain it to me why feghouli is in the starting eleven? My opportunities to watch Valencia this season are limited to Europa league, but so far i haven't seen almost anything from him that merits his place in starting eleven. Is he beast in league and that's the reason Emery keeps him or...? Pablo Hernandez looks like much better solution.

Emery really rates him, he gets alot of starts. Theres a joke that hes the new Zidane ;p, although the only thing he has in common with him is the Algerian origin. Hes nothing spectacular but I think hes really solid and better if you want more control in midfield .Better worth ethic, puts himself about. Not quite the offensive threat that an inform Hernandez should be but Hernandez's form has ranged from "wow wtf amazing' to meh this season and he's not one to help out tracking back that much. Certainly hasnt proved an adequate replacement for Joaqin in terms of consistency. I think hes injured at the moment anyway, otherwise he probably wouldve started.
Oh wow Falcao, what a boss..
