Hes nothing spectacular but I think hes really solid and better if you want more control in midfield .Better worth ethic, puts himself about. Not quite the offensive threat that an inform Hernandez should be but Hernandez's form has ranged from "wow wtf amazing' to meh this season and he's not one to help out tracking back that much. Certainly hasnt proved an adequate replacement for Joaqin in terms of consistency. I think hes injured at the moment anyway, otherwise he probably wouldve started. Oh wow Falcao, what a boss.. Yeah, heard about new Zidane but i'm not really convinced oh well, at least i kniow now why he's on the pitch.

Just look at all the different teams that won it and what kind of teams can reach the finals. Not to forget sides not scared of attacking.

They should change something about the UEFA Cup. I would disagree. This year i've seen more entertaining matches in EU league than in CL. It's kinda refreshing and teams here always play more attacking football or at least score more goals. Just look at the games of At. Bilbao and Valencia. It almost always included around 4 or even more goals. I like it.

Man Utd going out is just because they were shit this season in Europe, plain and simple. They drew 2x to a Benfica side which is pretty bad then they followed up with defeat at home to basel? So they just had one of there piss poor seasons with one of there transitional squads imo. Man City, well they have the biggest idiot managing them in the premier league imo, so much fighting and egotistic maniacs in there team than any other in the world. All paid wayy to much and deliver hardly anything, stretching from the manager down through to the players. They have physical fought one another and the manager cursing each and everyone of them in every press conference, to then play them the next game (insert Ballotelli,Toure,YayaToure,Tevez,Dzeko) If they had a decent manager with a bit more sense of how to deal with idiots or even stand up to his beleifs and when says you will never play for this club again, bring him back and cause all sorts of problems. Thats the reason they went out. But to be little the UEFA cup is a bit silly, it is the 2nd team competition anyway, as i don't think the teams coming down from the Champions League rarely win it? But the Porto and Athletic Madrid teams that won it last year and year before respectively were very good teams. Porto - they had Falcao who scored over 20 goals alone in Europe? Let alone the league format, had some great players and really worked for there manager. Athletico - Had the likes of Forlan running endlessly Aguero Simao etc so they were good players (most moved on now) De Gea, Ujfalusi, Perea, Dominguez,Antonio Lopez, Reyes, Paulo Assuncao, Raul Garcia, Simao, Forlan, Aguero. Not a bad lime up!! Hélton I. Sapunaru Rolando N. Otamendi Á. Pereira Fernando F. Guarin J. Moutinho Hulk Rodríguez R. Falcao Another beastly line up! So you cant say the past two winners have had bad teams atleast!!

UEFA events are always something to watch, that Falcao go was loltastically good. It was such a ridiculous attempt as well, it was about as disadvantageous a position as he could have got in after being ahead of the defence and in on the keeper. Switched it to his (wrong foot?) left foot and blasted it from a 90 degree angle, pretty much needed to hit the bar lol. Amazing.

I really really hope he can, I think he's an awesome asset to the team.

Still I was really impressed with Sporting, they really made things difficult for Bilbao.
