Liverpool LOL :D Sack Kenny for christ sake, guy is a very bad tempered old man who is way out of touch with the premier league and management in general get him out! Disgraceful.
Liverpool lost 6 in last 7 games, WTF that is awful. Im not a Liverpool fan but i know how good they usesd to be, and how they are doing right now is patehtic, they have mediocre players playing for one of biggest clubs in the world! Need a decent manager to support there decent owners they have now. KENNY HAS TO GO!!
So much money spent on players like carrol, henderssen or adam who are just mediocre players... Yep, those three are such bad players. Kenny, along with basically every player except Suarez, Enrique, Gerrard and maybe Reina/Skrtel/Johnson should leave if Liverpool want to ever reach their "usual" level again.
I wanna see Enrique play goalie hehehe. I never seen a non-goalie playing goalie

I think the major difference between Ronaldo and Messi, is that Ronaldo is the 'mechanically' (heh, we're on a SC fansite after all) best player in the world, while Messi is just the jawdropping genius who makes the seemingly impossible possible.
Ronaldo is simply incredibly athletic (jesus christ his thigh), has an awesome pace, great shooting/header technique, amazing 1-to-1 dribbling skills.. one could probably go on like that for quite some time. He basically is able to do every thing a soccer player has to be able to do in the perfect way (his mental strength and behaviour on the field has increased as well).
However, while being physically inferior to Ronaldo, Messi is the magician. He is able to pull off things that most of the other players would call impossible, not because they lack the physical component (pace, shooting technique etc.), but because it requires simply another level of handling of the ball. In Messis case, this comes together with an incredible understanding of the game/flow, which, in addition, leads to very impressive assists and passes through the holes in the defense (this is certainly related to him growing up with Barcas style and thus having a very deep understanding of it, though).

He didn't have much to do I was excited like you, its great when non keepers go in goal! Highlight was when JT went in for Chelsea for me was great fun. He did 1 punch and kicked it clear i think.

Its pretty simple really, Messi doesnt need to resort fo flashy stuff to get the job done. Being able to keep it simple and beating players (ok so he has a superior center of gravity) is infinately more valuable than roulleting and flipping or other tricksey stuff that Ronaldo recently actually uses to good effect. Because he keeps it simple and can do more simply by knocking the ball left and right, making defenders look stupid, additionally it makes beating multiple players on the run just so much better and allows you to do more. Thats not to say he cant do the same things Ronaldo does. He doesnt have to. That for me is a a huge tipper in terms of how valuable he is.
@twisted. It was me who made the Ronaldo "comon guys wtf" comment.

Centre-half Thiago, who has previously been mooted as a transfer target for the Spanish champions, is sidelined, along with former Barcelona midfielder Mark van Bommel and Alexander Merkel.

Lineup for Barca: Valdés, Alves, Mascherano, Piqué, Puyol, Busquets, Xavi, Iniesta, Fabregas, Cuenca and Messi.
Bench: Pinto, Thiago, Keita, Adriano, Pedro, Alexis and Tello.
Don't particularly like that Alexis is on the bench, and Cuenca is starting - but maybe he has a knock or something.

Its tactical, Sanchez is good at working the channels and working the of the backs of the defense. Milan were played to deep and to well for that to work. So throw in Fabregas for some penetration for Messi and a natural wide player and see what you get. It was a toss up between Cuenca and Tello and I guess Tello got his chance last week so its a fair though process.
