I agree But I also believe that barca has to play better than today to win the Champions League. While nobody but themself can keep barca from scoring goals, their defense looked vulnerable. If they don't improve, they will be eliminated by a score like 6-5 on aggregate against top-notch competition.

do we know yet the winner of which series they play?

LOL wtf did the refs fail at again? A yellow card? Like the one to Thiago for jumping to the ball? C'mon.
You guys just love to hate the best team in the past few years, and BS about refs who do ok xD Jealous much.

I miss the legend of Neverkusen. Today they are just another team waiting to be crushed by Barca. Ballack, Lucio, Ze Roberto, Kirsten, Schneider, those were the times ...

Benfica will play tonight with Zenit with a temperature of -15 ° C. The pitch is a disgrace. I just hope the players do not get injured. I think this is almost as important as the result. We need to see a little more love to the underdog teams of the CL
GO BENFICA!

That's extreme especially for a Iberian team.

Yea they ran into arguably the greatest champions league final goal of all time and then Raul who was scoring finals goals for fun. That was a great team though Lucio was an absolute boss.

I still have nightmares about his goal in the quarter finals...Hamann off/Smicer on when they needed two goals...WHY?!

Always the jealousy accusation.
Did you see the situation with Busquets? Gonzalo Castro (Leverkusen) got a yellow card when he was the one with the ball while Busquets charged at him and BOTH fell to the ground. How does that even make sense? And also the situation with Mascherano. It was a perfect shoulder-on-shoulder situation, yet Barcelona got a freekick. They did deserve to win, which was expected, but it's doesn't change the fact that Barcelona often get referee decisions in their favor. It's not jealousy. No one can deny the fact that they are one of the strongest teams in the world, if not the strongest. But there is a reason why people complain.
The only ones who are denying this fact are Barcelona fans (which I kinda understand). Experts and everyone else are saying otherwise, though experts are more politically correct. Coincidence?

Id suggest you take a look at the last 3-4 league games Barcelona has played, while I agree that they do get some marginal decisions that they probably shouldnt (especially in europe) the fact that people criticize this fact so vehemently makes it nigh impossible for referees to not overcompensate atleast in the league. They have been at the wrong end of quite a number of absolutely shocking;y atrocious offside decisions especially involving Sanchez who was through in situations where there was way more than daylight between him and the final defender on the correct end. Problem is since hes so quick whats the linesman thinking "O well its Barca theyll probably score anyway, better give this one."
Point being if your going to nitpick these things its very easy to do it for any party. Just depends on wether you support them or not. They get kicked around in 1 game then probably most teams do in 4 or 5, its a very hard job refereeing as easy as it might look (idiots like Busquets dont make it easier obviously).
Id like to see who these "experts" are btw that would come out and call out referees for favoritism. Its rather unprofessional to do it regardless of how teams behave, Referees are always to be given the benefit of the doubt atleast in analysis.

Isnt that ur international CB partnering? xD Alves is good CB though even if he does get stuck in, he obviously likes defending and pops up with a goal aswell.

That game was nuts, St. Petersburg 2nd goal was amazing, then on the back and forth of the two horrible error goals within a minute the announcer here: "this is supposed to be the champions league not the chumpions league."

I LOVE American commentry on footy games its the best <3 i always get streams of Chelsea games on Fox Soccer just for the pundits at Half Time xD and when i was in Vegas i got the game vs Everton and was just pro lol Fox Soccer is my favorite channel!
But yeah commentator had point there, these two teams are lucky to draw eachother but in the round of 8 whoever gets through is going to be the tie EVERY other team wants. Lyon vs APOEL and Benfica vs Zenit = there because others failed, no disrespect but i mean there not excatly Man United or even Man City squad wise or Valencia another casulty in the group stage
