My favourite Cesc moment was definitely his flawless performance at the San Siro, never have I seen a player be so productive with the ball all match: I cried with him when he scored. As time wore on he became even better, more refined in his vision and touch but he lacked that raw passion he had when he was younger treating every game like it was his last. Despite his service, it could just be a good thing to shed a player that was the biggest club icon associated with the past 6 trophyless seasons. Nasri can just hurry on out. All he did was demand the ball, dribble himself to the corner flag, nutmeg the full-back and give the ball back to Clichy, 50 times every match. He played like the season was already over after his injury mid-season. Overrated mercenary. We can easily win the league with Jack and RVP, and a fully fit Verminator.

Harper became number 1 while newcastle was in the championship and is probably on the level of a top tier clubs second choice. You think Harper is better than Pinto? I am not surprised he scored two goals against SK, he is in brilliant form. But yeah, korea has some talent, too.

He will stay in the bench for most games, maybe go in when one of those is tired of hurt, but those two (Xavi/Inesta) never get tired enough or hurt that badly to get out of the game, so I find it difficult.

The reported fee is 32 million British pounds, with clauses on performance that can get it up to 40 million British pounds. That exact reason why I'm not as sad as I should be over his transfer to Barca. My word the Barca players have behaved appallingly over this whole thing, the supreme low point pulling a Barca shirt over him at the World Cup. Should have been the happiest point of his life but they decided to play their little pathetic games. Japan has an awesome team right now, very impressed with the way they can play and the hard work they put into every game. Honda is a great asset for them and they have more than a few flair players - they played a good game to beat Oz in the Asian Cup Final. Ganbare Nippon!

We need a new defender, a new attacker and a new keeper at the bench (Pinto sucks). Even Nasri for 20mil is a better deal, but they already made their mind. What will end Barça's golden age is gonna be Rossell and their minions, not the players... Thiago is a good player and the press is all over it, he's in no way at all better than Cesc currently. Hell Cesc at his age was better, people forget how amazing he was back then.

But it seems offical Fabregas is coming home :D Pique and Puyol having been tweeting about it, something around 31million apparently. my bad.. had just been ..and at the time the courting started.. he was.. were not talking about transfer dates.. here are we? Otherwise no one would be complaining about the Fabregas saga since no transfers actually happened ? EH ? and its not like Man United were happy about it either.. Pretty sure they complained to fifa or something.. SO no I didt not say he was the best player that season.. I said he was the best played "At the time" they started courting him.... I support barcelona aswell probably longer than most people my age without actually being from barcelona.. have through the van gaal days, I dont need to be told when Messi was the best player in the world and when he wasnt.. cheers.. People will find ways to complain when they're losing their best player especially when they dont want to thats just how it is.. other transfer sagas could be more acrimonious if that had been the case elsewhere..
