On another note, holy fucking shit i'm only watching a few games off and on, but I heard Mike Ross clutched it out against Itabashi in an earlier round to secure top 8, and I just watched him play Neurosis and HOLY SHIT was mike clutch. He had pretty much a pixel of health and managed to come back and win against a very defensive neurosis who had basically secured a win that round. I really wish I knew the brackets and how the format works, but Mike Ross seems to be performing so well here! Woohoo! (I sound like a huge fanboy, but really I just enjoy rooting for the underdogs, and I feel like mike is always the underdog in any tournament he attends, let alone one full of high level japanese players like this one). | ||

Big Two / Guard Crush whatever you call it has always been mainly SF4 though, so once 2012 drops it should be back to the old way. | ||

It was the same back in February, all we saw was Marvel at both WNF and guardcrush until March when MK9 came out which we saw for 2 weeks, then back to Marvel until June when AE came out, then thats all we saw until now UMVC3, which is all we'll see til AE2012 is out Its the cycle of the new game, gotta get used to it. | ||

apparently some of the WNF guys went to NASL grand finals Had a lot of good things to say about the different community, but this was a hilarious highlight. They also were doing day 9 impersonations etc "Magneto, spawning in the 3 o clock position" lololol | ||
