Obviously its easier to win just doing step kick and shoryukening everything with ken, that doesn't mean he's a better basic character to learn the game with.. | ||

With a character like chun li or Boxer you would learn to trust your normals for most of your damage. This will give you a considerable advantage later on when you see people spamming their special moves and never walking forward. | ||
