No trust me, NCR had the highest concurrents of this tournament season and of any stream since last years evo, and it peaked at 22.5k. Final Round was the second most and that had just about 20k. No stream has concurrently hit over 25k except for EVO.

But there is a LoL subforum right?

On July 30 2011 07:14 Zlasher wrote: LoL is not a featured steram on TL
There are featured streamers, and sometimes they play LoL, but NOBODY is featured on TL if it is not related to BW or SC2.
abit sad though, if everybody in TL shouts " ESPORT this and that" and then this, but cant blame them its teamliquid "starcraft progaming news/community/team"

Capcom doesn't.
Thats that.
MLG is free to use SSF4AE in their events any time they want though, just like any other tournament organizer. It's as much their fault for wanting exclusive treatment as it is Capcom's for not giving it.

Thats because teamliquid promotes the word esports when in reality they only care about starcraft, and 95% of the staff doesn't pay attention to any other competitive scene than BW or SC2. It waters down the term.
And yes LoL has a subforum.

They put EVO in the spotlight; so they actually are doing something to support fighting games but as said, its a starcraft site not a fighting site so thats probably why they dont have it in the stream bar

Yes, and TL has one of the most intelligent LoL community out there.
However TL's still an SC site.

I thought the grand finals for super only had like 40k people. Yeah, the tourneys always had like 12-15k viewers, then it went to 27k or something and one had 51k and I was pretty amazed. Don't think it was Evo...hm, maybe the numbers were bugged? Dunno, the record got broken by SC2 short time later though with something above 60k viewers. You are quite correct, I was typing in a rush and not thinking really about what I said I'm just so used to Starcraft 2 being soooo popular that I kind of put TL and Sc2 together. I do enjoy watching BW very much. I shall go lash my self for forgetting about BW He he, punishing yourself is nice. Anyway, you should have raged about the LoL thing. Every time I see "--> [LoL] blabla", a part of me dies =/ I talk to spooky, I guarantee you no stream other than evo has ever gotten past 25k lol. That's why I considered the fact that it was buggy the time around.

The streams I was talking about were in the second half of the year and pretty sure it was past september at that point.

I think Final Round 14 earlier this year had some really high numbers. I might be crazy though.

Wat. Thats pretty silly considering Tekken, Starcraft 2, MK9 now, and every other game can have tournaments outside of MLG. That isn't the reason the negotiations fell through

@Zlasher, isn't there a way to get the EVO featured stream here on TL? Not possible for a fighting game or is there another reason we don't seen fighting streams on TL? Just wondering. What do you think?

It peaked at 19.5k or so. So yeah you're crazy.

Oh nice that's awesome I didn't even notice it my self. Thanks for pointing that out. Glad the fighting game community and starcraft community can work together. Skisonic giving shoutouts to TL earlier today, TL having Evo on spotlight. Good stuff

This be true. Testie streams LoL constantly and he'll never be featured until he makes the switch.

By "exclusive treatment" I meant treatment not given to other tournament organizers, not excluding the game from other tournaments.

He streams HoN, not LoL. HoN is still under "misc" for streaming, LoL got its own category.
