For this one lets all go on NA. East or West doesn't matter to me. And to get everyone on one game should be easy enough, we probably won't be on the same team though, we can join off each other if we have someone in the friends list of the game.
All levels of skill are welcome, just have mumble to we can communicate. I would but I have plans for tonight. Overall we should have a community page just for playing with other TLers. It would be easier. I tried that sometime ago, it got closed http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=306210 Do you know why it got closed? Try to pm a mod to see how we can make another one that won't get closed. I think its because we didn't get enough interest, only like 10 people posted with their id's. Well, try again in a bit, see if more people want to come. Do you want to play some tribes now before I got to go? My id is DarkCush. Yeah man I'll be on the mumble I posted above in a minute. I haven't downloaded Mumble yet. Is it just like Teamspeak? or is it something different?
Its essentially the same thing from what I've experienced.

Would you rather use teamspeak? I can't connect to the mumble right now. If so I have a server,

Cush and I are gonna play some games, and we're going to have a big get together at 10:00 EST tonight.

Alright well whatever we end up playing wtih I guess I'll come. I've pretty much quit the game at this point because I got bored with competitive play and the incompetency of hirez.

It wont let me connect to the server Server connection failed: The remote host closed the connection. Did i do something wrong? I entered the right info.

I just got a key for this and played 3 games. Is there a quick-start guide out there somewhere? It seems like I have no class perks and no good weapons. My team got smashed all 3 games and I got like 125 experience for each match.
I play a lot of Soldier in TF2 and the spinfuser looks like a lot of fun. Am I really going to have to play hundreds of matches (or pay money) to get the 45,000ish experience needed to unlock the gun, though?

If so, just keep playing, you will get better. And the better you get, the more points you get.

Nice playing with you guys, thank you for your patience .

I've also watched a decent amount of the game on youtube commentaries. I was just wondering how much time I need to commit before I can unlock half-decent equipment. At my current rate it'd take about 400 games just to unlock the spinfuser, which isn't particularly encouraging.

If I unlock a perk for the pathfinder class, does it unlock for the other classes or are they really that cheap and stingy?

For the perks you only need to buy it once to get it for all classes

Really the weapons you start out with are pretty good in most cases, for the soldier I actually think it's better to keep the assault rifle since the thumper dx is a projectile weapon and it's nice to have an automatic weapon for some cases where you can't land a hit with a projectile.
100 exp is pretty low, I think depending on the length of the game you'll generally get around 400-500 exp on average? (just a guesstimate)

You get a first win of the day of 1200 exp, you get about 1500 exp/h (rough estimate) once you get a bit better. When you buy something you get a perma 50% boost though, so I advise to buy something as soon as you can if you are interested in ever buying something.
Also, you can play pathfinder, he's got a spinfusor and a pretty decent one too.

The boost is permanent? 50%?
