For some reason I have been totally blinded by the mass media advertisement and I didn't even know there was new Tribes game in the making :o I used to play Tribes back in the days quite a lot, along with other great FPS games. Nowadays I haven't bothered to even look at the market 'cause it seems to be MW3 and games copying the same ideas only. Oh the days of Hexen and other classics.. | ||

Tribes: Ascend can't be a Tribes 2 clone, it just can't or a couple hundred people would love it and it would quickly stagnate and die cause no new blood would give a shit. Although a lot of people would prefer that nothing changed, this is a new generation of game development, you have to take the bad with the good and be willing to concede some things for the greater good of the game. Don't get me wrong, there are some fairly large issues facing Tribes and Hi Rez and how they handle them will be telling about the future of Tribes. But remember IT"S IN BETA FOR FUCKS SAKE. | ||
