Also ended up preordering Civ 6 and I am Setsuna on a GMG sale.
I have not played a single one yet. Got Civ 4: Colonization from a humble bundle earlier in the year and I'm still playing that. So I kinda mapped what games coming out that I'm interested in and when I'll play them. Looks like I won't be playing this year's Steam sale purchases until after next year's sale. I now have a greater understanding on why you guys have hundreds of unplayed games. All the game bundles is the main reason. Buy them to get one or even two games you want at sale prices, get 6 more games whereof you play 1.

as in, you need to own battlefield 4 to get that?

You can unlock them, you just can't play them without the base game. Just did it in origin client and I now own the 4 expansions but not the base game, so I can't play them. Did not work to unlock in browser for me.

Are we counting the cost of having to use UPlay?

Humble Store has a sale going on. Fallout 4 and Doom are both 50% off, but the pick of the sale for me is the Shadowrun Triple Pack at 9.99. All of those are excellent turn-based RPGs.

I want to bring attention to Cross Code Steam Link While it may not be on sale, costs about 20 quid and even an early access title with deadlines already postponed once or so (behold!), there is a playable demo available on Steam. After playing that I bought the game, so try out for youself. Or just go to here. You can play it on the game's homepage because it's written in HTML5 or something like that.
I've played it for a couple of hours and really enjoyed my time so far. Will continue to enjoy in a couple of minutes It's basically the old SNES ARPGs recreated with similar style, combat and sound but some neat stuff mixed in. I get strong vibes of Secret of Mana (1 & 2). Others say it's similar to Zelda (e.g. the jump mechanics) but as this is a gap in my childhood education I cannot say much to that.
tl;dr: Awesome SNES ARPG Zelda-SoM-like f2p play it here or on steam. Early access so don't buy unless you enjoy it as much as I did and want to support no matter whether the game gets out or not. cheers

Thanks jtype. I can't say there's anything I want that I don't already have. Shame.

Sale is generally disappointing, if you like strategy games/roguelike things maybe Mordheim and Darkest Dungeon (but in Poland i can get boxed version for 7 euro...) are worth considering. Outlast for 5 euro is ok.

I recommend ring runner flight of the sages. Costs 1$/€ And is just a great game. The controls are better with a controller, but I finished the campaign with Mouse+Keyboard and this was good as well. And the campaign is just damn worth it, the ships get really crazy and it is a lot of fun. Ever wanted to drag an anvil behind your spaceship and use it to smash other spaceships? Or are you the stealthy type? Or brute gun force? Doesnt matter... This game is it. And at that price you cant do much wrong.
