Might even be a bot scanning this thread and redeeming those keys being posted. More work than I want to do for something I don't care about any longer. Changing the code so it isn't all spelled out is how far I am willing to go.

PC Gamer [GameChanger] provides games and toys to hospitals, hosts gaming events ... more than 17,000 videogames to “hospitals, children centers, partner charities, and families”. ... Square Enix is offering Steam codes for the 2013 Tomb Raider reboot to anyone who donates at least $1. The deal is part of the publisher's 20th anniversary celebration of the release of the original Tomb Raider ... The $1 Tomb Raider offer is live now and runs until April 5, or while supplies last.

I'm on the edge whether I should buy a game via G2A or directly over steam, as it's ~1/3 less on G2A, still looking for the catch 21... if there is any (?) Both retailers would net me a steam key instead of a physical copy, so I don't see any disadvanteous difference for me...

Yes there are legit keys on their, yes they are cheaper (most of the 'legit' keys are from either free handouts or bought very cheap in poor countries. However there are also keys sold that were bought with stolen credit cards. http://www.polygon.com/2015/2/9/8006693/the-truth-behind-those-mysteriously-cheap-gray-market-game-codes http://www.gamespot.com/articles/ubisoft-reinstating-some-fraudulent-far-cry-4-and-/1100-6424917/ The very existence of G2A shield, an extra priced service to protect yourself if your key happens to be fraudulent, is proof of how shady the market is.

more often than not that game might come from questionable places not that it means that something would happen to you, but theres always the chance if its not new, you are pretty much in the clear
