Not similar very much, there is way less freedom but better story and more interesting choices to make. Combat is different as well but also better than Skyrim once you get used to it. One of the best RPGs I have played. Don't be fooled by first hour tutorial in Witcher 1, it sucks, but after that the game is amazing.

But it's not open world at all. You can't custom your hero too. But it's one of the best rpg ever made and is really really good all in all.

Well, only played the Witcher 1. They aren't similar at all. The only similarity might be the shitty combat in both games (although the style of the combat is pretty different). Where Skyrim has a huge open world that asks for exploration and striving through the world, the witcher is really set on the story. Cut scenes everywhere. It depends on what you like about RPGs. I think the story is actually ok but I couldn't stand the combat and the way the story was told. If you played skyrim more straight (as in only playing the main story) then you might like it.

Like Deadelious said they are all good save for Cartel. Cartel is an overly racist shame of a game. I blocked it from my mind and that's why I was mixed up.

Witcher 2 works a lot better with a controller, WItcher 1 i would prefer M&K. You can still play W2 with M&K though, it works fine. Controller still smoother.

How good is DmC remake with keyboard and mouse? Do you really need a controller or is it fine either way?

How much playtime will I get out of TWD? Either season.

Each episode is 1.5-2 hours long (depending a little). There's 5. Same with Season 2. Easily worth it.

I think season 1 is about 12 hours. Its about 2 hours per episode, give or take, from what i remember. Season 2 isn't finished so im not sure, but i feel like the episodes in Season 2 are shorter.

I tried with M/Kb and couldn't really play properly, had to hook up my game-pad for it to be enjoyable. Not unplayable, but most fighting games, you will get more out of it if you use a controller IMO.

DMC is a game where you really want a controller.

Also, at this point, if you game any relevant amount of time, you should really invest 20 € into a controller at some point. It will pay off in a world where a lot of good games are made for consoles and thus built to be played with a controller.

I hate these days. It's really hard not to buy almost every game that is around ~80% down. However, the last day is always the best one, so I will regret that I spent all of my "sales" money on these leftovers.

Mount and Blade Warband best game in the world.

I was extremely disappointed with the Witcher 2. I suppose the story might have been worth getting into eventually but the combat was AWFUL. The game is also full of completely unnecessary quick time events; I don't care how engaging the story might be, I shouldn't have to mash a button to wind up and fire a ballista. what is this, 2003?

I was just looking at this, is it worth getting? So cheap. What kind of game is it?

Combat is better in the witcher 2 then the witcher 1 by far. I still laugh at the combat in witcher 1.
