All the games that are big discounts were already for sale in the last sale. There doesnt seem to be alot of titles on sale worth buying. >< . The flash sales literally have games that are terrible and not worth looking at, right now its : Football Manager, NBA2k13 and F1. The last set was indy games.
Tomb raider, Hitman, being the exception. No other premium quality games with 75% of deal. (at least recent games) While I can understand if the genre isn't up your alley, Football Manager 2k13 is probably one of the best spreadsheet/management games. Definitely not "terrible and not worth looking at". Yeah, I'm quite happy with my FM13 purchase and although very tempted by NBA2k13 (92 metacritic and one of the only major sports games still shipped for pc) and F1 I had to draw the line somewhere. Which major sports games aren't available to PC anymore? Afaik PES and FIFA should be the biggest ones and still have PC versions, NBA has it seems, so I guess NA sports such as Madden and whathever is done for Baseball? I'm sure it's not their main focus anymore, but I don't think PC ports are such a rarity. It's a bit off topic but console to pc sports ports are rare. Besides FIFA I don't think a single EA sports game is still shipped on PC. 2K isn't much better offering NBA2k13. + Show Spoiler +I definitely consider racing, combat (boxing/mma) or manager/sim games as "sports" games - I'm just specifically talking about the "major team sports" (hockey, baseball, basketball, American football and football/soccer. FIFA and PES are definitely the biggest sports games available for PC (and I was quite tempted to buy PES when it was on sale). The global popularity of football/soccer is no doubt what's keeping these games available for PC - which is further why I was also tempted to buy NBA2k13.
Not sure if serious or just full retard!
Football Manager is the bst Manager on the market for the biggest sport in the world and NBA2K is just the best Sportsgame every year! And every sports game is way better on PC. NBA2K without mods is a way worse game.

Witcher 2 looks good, but eh I just can't get into it. I'd say your problem likely has something to do with Win8, I've got 3570k, GTX 650, and 8gb RAM, had no problems running it. Perhaps go into the steam folder and try setting the executable to run in WinXP/Vista/7 compatibility mode and see if that helps. Did you even get past the Prologue? The Prologue was admittedly pretty shit, but I feel like the game really opens up into something special once you get to Act 1.
i just finished witcher 1 like 1 day ago and went into witcher 2 straight after, and for me the prologue was shitty too i was a bit disappointed but more you play more it becomes better
and i took new vegas to complete my collection with fallout 3 (200 hours at least with those two now :D)
train simulator + euro truck simulator guys, don't miss it :D

Tomb Raider is on flash sale for -75%. A good deal if you ask me
This is the first time I follow these sales so I wonder how does it work. Do they five big sales on last day? Do you think Tomb Raider will be once more on sale, even thought it has already been for the whole duration + flash sale?
|
Tomb Raider is a pretty terrible Casualgame. Its one of these Console-Casualgames like Uncharted. Its very linear and full of QuicktimeEvents. I was bored after 20mins. At least Laras Hair looks good...
@Last Day All Deals will be on again.

Fuuuuuuu!!!!
Was hoping NBA won the community choice
As to the above, the new Tomb Raider is great... and Uncharted 2 was probably the best game of this generation (I haven't played The Last of Us yet). Terrible? Talk about exaggeration.

@Last Day All Deals will be on again. It's get better after the first hour or two if you manage to play on. But I get what you mean.

Im just wondering whether TR will get an even bigger discount, but seriously i doubt -75% is already great for a 2013 game

You will not get a bigger discount than daily/flash/community choice (which are all the same discount for a game). If it's on the "last day deal"-deal it will have the same discount as during those other special deals.

tomb raider is just so good i would still pay full price for it

I'm not finished with Tomb Raider yet, but overall it is a good game. However they overuse quick-time events and how you interact with stuff could be better.

If you are even just mildly interested in space travel and/or explosions, you should seriously consider buying Kerbal Space Program while it is 40% off. A major update is due in the next week or so and I expect the price will go up again sooner or later. It's one of the best games I've ever played.

How the DLCs work on Steam? I bought the Tomb of the Lost Adventurer DLC for TR and it isn't listed in my library. When I click to TR and go DLC it offers me to buy it again. Does it intergrate itself in the game or what?

Most dlc is only accessible inside the game, as in you can only launch it from within the game but it will be listed in the dlc tab in properties
