No airplanes in it either ):
Mods are good, storylines are ok, game is much improved from San Andreas, but cuts a lot of stuff out.
Expansions cut a lot of customization things found in the stand-alone

Also, I highly recommend picking up Witcher 2 if you haven't already. A game that good at 75% off is practically stealing!

Any chance it might show up again at a lower price? Also, I highly recommend picking up Witcher 2 if you haven't already. A game that good at 75% off is practically stealing! It kinda shortens the replay value if you allready have that stuff.

there is easily 100+ hours of play in that including mods, not taking into account multiplayer (which isn't my thing).

Also considering Civ 5 + the cheap xpack at GMG. I've got some play time in civ 5 a while back so I know I like it, but will probably only grab it or anno at this point.

I bought Mount & Blade collection. Should I install the game and both expansions including warblade right away? Should I mod the game at the beginning or just play through without mods? Mhmmm... tricky one. I would always recommend M&B Warband over native Warband and I would almost always recommend against F&S for a first playthrough. For mods on your first run I recommend at least the Floris Modpack. Their "Basic" version is literally vanilla with just some fixes/neat additions, their expanded version to me is what vanilla should have been in the first place. It could be a bit confusing though for a first playthrough. Not sure. Besides that (I can't remember if it's compatible with Floris or not, I THINK it is but google should be able to quickly tell you) Diplomacy is a great, great small mod fixing, well... diplomacy in the game. Gives you more options and makes things more intuitive imo. Another small thing that's great from your first run onwards is Battle Sizer. The games default settings are obviously aimed for older computers, this is just a small tool making it possible to have up to 1000 units on the field at once, depending on your machine. Play around with it and try to find settings that don't make you lag. Some of my favorite "real" mods are Prophesy of Pendor (fantasy total conversion, insane content, improved AI, loads more stuff to do compared to regular M&B), Brytenwalda (a realistic conversion set in the 6th/7th century on the British Isles. Incredibly detailed and hard as fuck to play), and Blood and Steel (mostly aims to make the game more of a "tactical simulator", removing some of the more... "bullshitty" skills, has its own insane AI, reworked economy, battle systems, etc. etc.) - afaik the creator was on a longer hiatus and JUST started updating to 1.153, judging from their forum he's gonna be done fixing bugs in a couple of days. Apart from all that, just go ahead and browse the taleworlds mod forums, enjoy one of the most insane games I know of in terms of modding, easily second to e.g. Morrowind or Oblivion.

Just played the demo, it was fun, but I'm more into the "build a city from scratch and only focus on that" sort of thing, like the old sim city games, than the mission based building and completing objectives. Anyone with some anno 2070 experience convince me to grab it before the sale is gone? Hard to drop $20 on a game I'm unsure of when I've been dropping $5 on games I know I'll play. You could play the Demo, but I think its basically Anno 1404 in a less fun scenario. @Civ5 GET IT! Civ5+Expansion for ~15$ is just a great value.

Mount and blade is tons of fun for an older game. But when you have a huge army, and finally die. Motivation to start over is hard to get.

Kinda regretting that I bought Dark Souls now too, GFWL is so fucking garbage and I still haven't got it to work. Can't even save without it on, what the fuck is this bullshit? Last time I use anything using this piece of shit. I wish there was some way to strip the game of it -_-
