I doubt its all pirating lol I mean to be fair the pc version if you want to play it you need a pretty powerful pc. But I am curious do you have a link to your source? Really you shouldn't misslead people. Its known that a lot of US gamers use consoles.

You buy a product produced by other people for money. Either you want the game and you part with your cash or you don't. They don't owe you anything. They don't have to do anything.
I can understand where you're coming from, but let's not insinuate that you have a right to any of this shit, friend.

That's not a dumb reason, at least not on the same level as not buying SC2 (if they had any interest at all) because it doesn't have LAN. EA pulled (all?) their games from steam because EA didn't like valve taking a cut of the sales. They made origin and it's pretty terrible from my experience. The server browser is a buggy mess, couldn't set any game options unless you're in a game, and a really clunky interface. I know it's beta and the first real title on Origin, but not a terrible reason to not preorder.

Bflog wasnt origin, and there is nothing ensuring that you wouldnt have to use Bflog if you had steam aswell

I'm talking about freedoms that we have come to expect for decades... the best example is lan, a feature in 99% of non MMO computer games... then blizzard comes along and decides that people can't be trusted with lan latency, but dont worry, theres offline mode...
Then diablo 3 comes along: then they remove offline mod... so its a multiplayer RPG, with a massive community with auctionhouses and guilds,
and theres organized arena based PvP, with potential for pro...
and of course, bliz not gonna balance that (they dont balance wow, and its mlg, dont balance sc2, its mlg, dont balance d3? follow the trend yo!)
and of course, you most connect your computer to skynet in order to play, and we will keep all of your stuff on our servers, and anything you do belongs to us bitch...
and of course if you use any mods or any plugins or any 3rd party programs or launchers... will ban your ass with our corPirate penis of activision-greed!
... in the end, while graphics demands, prices, and disk space of games are on the rise... are we seeing progressive quality? no... we are paying more for less service... I'm guaranteed to pirate diablo 3 because 90% of the "advertised features" are worth NOTHING to me, and several are actually restrictive on my ability to enjoy the game...
It's not about: pay money get a game, its pay money get a game... but we're taking everything your freedoms away from you so you have no choice but to play the game our way...

Actually, its just about you justifying not wanting to pay

this. Pirates will always try to make "Justifiable" reasons to why they should pirate instead of buy lol.

I'll agree with this statement.

Why's everyone on here always arguing. TT We don't even have races to fight about in this game (but if we did recon would totally be zerg...jk jk ) and yet there is still hating going on. Chill out and enjoy. But I do agree about the graphics thing but only because I think it would be sweet for all games to have a "low" graphics option similar to SC2, would allow for way more people to join the fun that can't upgrade or have bad rigs atm.

Stop acting like everything is such a huge injustice. By all means don't purchase the games if it greatly annoys you, but don't go on about how your going to pirate diablo 3. Pirating doesn't help the problem you have, it only fuels another one.

Ever heard of try before you buy? guessing you just buy any game that comes out, and just deal with it if it runs/plays like shit. id say spending 60$ on a good video game, like sc2, is obviously worth it, look at all the game time we get for 60$, but when i buy a game like black ops, or Rage, i wish id had pirated them so i could have realized how shitty they were going to run on my computer. I dont see anything wrong with trying a game before deciding if im going to give them my cash. Maybe im just old fashioned, or crazy.

There is something called system specs, or can i run it, http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/
He doesnt want to buy this game because "origins can get your personal information" meanwhile, so can steam, and every other third party program.
As if he has anything to hide besides his porn searches, anyways.

How come there is hardly any hype about this $1.6million BF3 tournament?

1. its on console. 2. its on console. 3. its on console.
pretty much sums it up.

Yeah I don't hate on console players or anything like that but I personally never watch or really even talk about console related topics, I wish they had done that on PC and can't see how it wouldn't be just as feasible. After all BF is "historically" a PC game, kinda lame imo they took it that way, or at least whoever is sponsoring the tournament took that direction. Not saying they won't have more interest because of it just my opinion though.

Are you serious? I presumed with that kind of money they would at least put it towards the superior version of the game...

Huh? I think you're taking my perspective a little too personally. I did in fact buy SC2 despite it's shortcomings since they don't affect me that much personally. I'm not a fan of EA so having to use their platform instead of something I've used for years and have the majority of my games on (Steam) is actually a factor in my decision.
And as pointed out, shelling out a few hundred dollars for a new system (at least a new GPU/CPU) was the major factor.
But yeah, cool your jets bro.

After looking more into this tournament it appears its a conquest tournament, so maybe that's why its console only, so they don't have to find actual "teams" of 32 players each to participate. That also allows for each player that is on the winning team to get a nice amount of cash. Sounds so strange but there really trying to engage the CoD stuff head on. Doubt anyone could afford to do this more than once a year or maybe just once in total. lol That is a ton of money.
