Bishops do really bad damage and most of the mages kinda do sub-par damage. I wouldn't worry too much about it though, the next big patch is suppose to change it all. | ||

Bishop is the only thing that plays a non-dps role and even that is questionable. Lots of classes have support buffs though. | ||

Battle Mages are useful for party with their auras. Also there's some shield thingy that I don't know what it does... Buccaneers with their speed infusion is also well appreciated, too bad we don't have one. | ||

In terms of training/grinding there are three basic categories to look at 1. melee - have to fight in the face of mobs 2. ranged - attack from a distance towards the direction you are facing 3. mobbing - attack multiple mobs around you In terms of bossing there are also three basic categories 1. melee 2. ranged 3. support obviously the ms jobs in the game has a little bit of all 3 basic categories but each job is dominated by one of the categories mentioned above... I feel that it is a good starting point. It will help you weed out many of the jobs MS has to offer now that there is no way in hell you would play. lol Once you're set on one of the three categories... then you can better choose the job you want to play as they all have their advantages and disadvantages especially since nexon keeps changing dmgs and actual skills. However having said that i do not think nexon strays away from the three categories mentioned above. As far as what the guild needs. It is best that you first go with something you feel you would enjoy and then from there perhaps the guild members can direct you in a direction that they feel is needed. But if you are like me (I love melee and cant stand ranged or mobbing) there is no way i'd ever play a corsair no matter how much damage it can do. lol... so yea the general theme in this thread from past posts is that it is most important to play something you feel is fun for you... then in terms of what the guild needs its almost as if the guild members will help incorporate you into pqs and boss runs... btw i cant really invite you since im not a jr master but if you need more information on the different jobs you can play as... feel free to chat invite me in the game... my ign is the same as my TL name: xusam | ||
