That basically means that it wasn't viable at UG so they had to just leave it at U but it reflects the UG nature of Simic...I fee like it's a fine card with that in mind.

The colour-shifted (aka Time-Shifted) cards are still flavourful but weren't the way R&D went with the colour pie. Also had a lot of throwbacks to old stuff too which was cute. Note that while Pongify was printed in Planar Chaos, it's not actually explicitly a color-shifted card (the color-shifted cards have special templating that you can see on Sunlance and Mana Tithe--note that the boxes containing the name and type are colored darker than the background color, while in the normal template, they are a lighter shade of the corresponding color). Which means that they don't explicitly consider it to be a color pie violation.

But it's a violation. Rationalize it if you want with "bleeding" or Simic watermarks but destroying creatures isn't Blue. Again, I don't care, I just like typing violation. Edit: don't mean to sound hard headed, btw, but that's how my post reads. Basically, I don't think the color pie is particularly sacred, but there is some reason it exists. The card isn't overpowered or anything like that but it's just not particularly Blue.

I just remembered Mind Funeral. More chancy, but it'll probably cost less. EDIT: Aww darn. Jace, Memory Adept is still viable for standard. Speaking of milling, haha....

I got 3-1, losing my only match to my friend who got an Entreat the Angels is his AVR.... incase you didn`t know populating 4/4s with flying is good. 1st game I never drew an Island, 2nd game Frostburn Weird brought the beats with Pursuit. 3rd was super close, was stuck on 4 lands for 1-2 turns longer than I needed to be. It came down to me saying F it and stealing an angel with Conscripts and hoping he blocked wrong. My sick deck: 1 Pillar of Flame 2 Frost Weirds 2 Electromancers 2 Pursuit of Flight 1 Nivix Guildmage 1 Izzet Charm 1 Lobber Crew 1 Riot Ringleader 1 Tower Drake 1 Cobblebrue 1 Mist Raven 1 Into the Void 1 Voidwielder 1 Batterhorn 1 Zealous Conscripts (Best card in my deck by an extremley wide margin) 1 Hypersonic Dragon 2 Isperia`s Skywatch 1 Thunderous Wrath 1 Rogue`s Passage 1 Izzet Guildgate 8 Mountains 7Islands If you are looking for a way to reinvigorate draft or just have fun try mixing the packs up!

Tap down any number of permanents (say, all of your opponent's permanents at their upkeep) with Captain himself. Rakdos' Return. Go Grixis Control/Ramp, with your win cons being Rakdos' Return, Nicol Bolas, and CMC 5 Jace. There's also Bonfire of the Damned as well.

You can also produce infinite life with Resto + 2 Fiend Hunters + Seraph Sanctuary, which in turn draws you infinite cards with Drogskol Reaver and wins the game with Laboratory Maniac. There are a couple of infinite combos for various things in Standard; I personally think that the Resto + Fiend Hunter one just for the infinite life could even be played in an actual deck since the cards aren't too awful by themselves. And if you happen to have Omniscience or a Tamiyo Emblem in play, you can use a huge variety of combos...

Off-topic thought, I don't think there's more soul crushing moment as a player in RtR drafts than when you realize that you have to kill a Runewing because said Runewing is going to kill you...from 20. The look on people's faces when they spend an Ultimate Price/Stab Wound/Augur Spree to kill it when they are behind on board is just demoralizing.

If its on twitch.tv, you need to get the twitch.tv app, otherwise it's no good. Adobe Flash will NOT NOT NOT NOT NEVER EVER work on iPhones so you need to either find the app (if they have one) or some kind of alternative. Some sites have mobile versions of their sites and recognize that you are using an iPhone and automatically present you with the alternative.
