Yeah I don't see how either, will just have to wait on spoilers. On October 03 2012 12:06 ParanoiaDHerO wrote: I agree, my friend's current jund deck is just unbelievable. Removal isn't even the issue for me, it's that Jund just lands the farseek and is instantly better off than Grixis. And alas, that we are not ![]() Edit: I mean ugh... if the mana was consistent Grixis would be so good T_T

Upsides: Better Mana More consistent Ghoultrees with loot+ Rakdos, Lord of Riots backup plan Better aggressive creatures rather than utility ones Loot > pure Self Mill Can side out creatures with much less of an impact Downsides: More expensive mana Jarad/Rakdos gives 2 very hard to cast spells on top of other doubles like Wild Guess There aren't as many good loot spells (I don't count Shattered Perception as a good one) Arbor Elves are kinda awkward but I have so many 3s/4s it's worth it. + Show Spoiler + 4x Ghoultree 4x Dreadbridge Goliath 3x Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord 4x Dreg Mangler 4x Arbor Elf 3x Lotleth Troll 3x Rakdos, Lord of Riots 4x Grisly Salvage 4x Faithless Looting 3x Shattered Perception 4x Overgrown Tomb 4x Blood Crypt 3x Woodland Cemetary 4x Dragonskull Summit 3x Rootbound Crag 1x Swamp 1x Mountain 4x Forest

Something silly like + Show Spoiler [monowhite enchantment deck lol] + 4x Pacifism 1W 4x Arrest 2W 4x Oblivion Ring 2W 4x Security Blockade 2W 4x Sphere of Safety 4W 4x Martial Law 2WW 2x Defang 1W 2x Ghostly Possession 2W 4x Growing Ranks 2WW 1x Touch of the Eternal 5WW 2x Curse of Exhaustion 2WW 2x nevermore 1x Elixer 1x Staff of nin 1x Sands of Delirium land 4xGhost Quarter 16x plains maybe less considering i only need to really hit 4 5 But i think just keeping a side of 2x nevermore (probably would sideboard in any match after the 1st game) 2x Defang 1W 2x Ghostly Possession 2W 2x Curse of Exhaustion 2WW 3x Elixir of immorality (something that killed all my enchantments or something) 4x Rest in peace (re animator) And something for card advantage probably like staff instead of splashing colors ionno im dicking around with a cheap fun deck for standard instead of one designed to purely win going that splash of blue to hit Supreme Verdict and Detention Sphere wouldn't be too bad either. It probably be bad given flashes and stuff like bounce but i just wanna lol

The format hasnt even shaped up yet, how do you expect people to know what decks will be in the format? Try some mono white or mono red variant, those are usually cheap.

Of course, but that has been the case for red decks for all time(notice where I say you can't beat thragtusk, also add huntmasters on to your list of annoying cards 2 bodies + 2 life is super strong). Once you get in to two colors, you can have a more versatile deck, but then your investing in to duals of some sort or have horrible mana. As far as dirt cheap start from scratch have decent chance at winning games mono red has been historically the best option, you have really strong match ups and then you have super weak match ups(but you can still randomly win turn 4) Not suggesting the deck is going to be tier one or two ;p

It's a fucking uncommon anyway, anybody that did INN drafts has to have a few. EDIT: Never trust Starcity, they always charge the maximum possible, literally every other website is the same or lower, usually lower. EDIT EDIT: Median price on TCG player has gone up since I last checked, but it's still $1.85 http://magiccards.info/query?q=Lingering SOuls&v=card&s=cname
