It's a free time walk for Delver decks and if Pod/GW decks go Birds into Lingering Souls/Splicer, you're still getting no where. RG aggro will just beat it for free with SGeist/Dungrove. It won't be in the current standard when a Sword of War Peace on a Flying 3/2 Delver or 2/1 hasted Undying beats it cleanly. It's just meh in T2, maybe better in Modern where Burn is a real deck or Legacy where Burn can win (not a lot) games. That said, this card hinges on M13's Red support since Lavamancer, Galvanic, Shrine, Phoenix are all going out the door (provided no reprints, Lavamancer is the only thing I can see being reprinted), then depending on what gets reprinted, this could be a much better card. Basically, all of the current decks in T2 can beat it pretty cleanly, drawing this later on is terrible since it's neither a direct damage spell nor a "real" creature. | ||

Descendants' Path (or Path of Descendants) - 2G - Rare At the beginning of your upkeep, reveal the top card of your library. If it's a creature card that shares a creature type with a creature you control, you can cast this card without paying its mana cost. Otherwise, put it at the bottom of your library. Here is the image: + Show Spoiler + People seem to be split about the art, but I think it's rather fantastic. When's the last time a card had a little girl holding a baby goat? | ||
