That and also what are you going to do with your 'junk' blue and green items you can't use? Sell them to merchants? Salvage them? Give them to your guildies and get stuff from your guildies! Or just stick them in the mystic forge and see what happens. The mystic forge is way too fun | ||

Generally speaking, the set of armor with the same name does not provide additional stat bonus. They are a set in the sense of visual look that match each other. The part that matter is the rune slotted in the upgrade slot. Runes with the same name (i.e. Rune of Hoelbrak) will give you more bonus when you where another armor(s) with with the same rune. So you can pretty much put on armors with totally different name and look and still get a set bonus with if you know what runes you have to slot in.
