twisted... you're playing to protect a lead not try to score more... what would suarez bring to the lineup except being kicked in the last 15 minutes? Nothing, the manager did well.

Also he needs to get used to getting kicked in practice before getting kicked in game ... and how did rodriguez miss that open net opportunity i have no idea.

Yep Dalglish was the man today, very well organised team, 4 wins in a row i think. Teams bring on players late on all the time for wasting time and fresh legs especially if they play one up front.

btw i think im the only one thats thinking this but, i have the feeling that Mourinho told his portuguese coleagues,(pepe, carvalho,etc) to injure Messi in the friendly against Argentina. Considering RM will face Barca 2 times for Copa del Rey Trophy and La Liga.

I like watching out for new Argentine talent. Shame the three river plate stars were not allowed to go by the club. Lamela and Lanzini look great.

But they sent Funes Mori. Last year he was the player in which the people had the higher expectations. You should also take into account that River PLate is on a very complicated situation because it can descend into the B league because of the low average in the last 4 seasons.

I don't like Ferreyra as a player, but that is just a personal opinion. Regarding Iturbe, if he matures his play properly in the next 3 years, he is gonna be the hell of a player.

I lol'd when I found out that Chelsea had bought Torres. They are wasting their money.

^ Chelsea are apparently making bucket loads of money on shirt sales, so it may be a good investment. Might have to see him play a bit more than an hour to see if he was a waste of money though. He might only start firing next season, Berbatov was pants at united for like 2 seasons before justifying his price tag.
