Wish Fabianski was healthy, I've actually been impressed with his play. Though why not start Almunia over this kid? Only time I've seen him play was in the Carling cup i believe and he didn't even get tested.
Have a bad feeling about this. Our offensive is going to have to be very dominant if we want to win this I think, cause our back line is even weaker now. Its ok tho cause we got Nasri!
i thought almunia was still injured. anyway, it'll be ok.. united score 3, nasri will just score 4!
in arsene we trust!!!

true, almunia is in spain, curing his injury... hope it will be a draw game

The spanish leauge is shit.

Park's goal was so ugly, lol. Fun game so far though, very open.
|
i think it was a nice header
|
Oh yeah!! Park scored. Honestly he was one of the worst performer on the pitch today, but that header changed all. Very quick reaction and good anticipation from Park. I think he will be sub out in the 2nd half though.
|
Meh, having people like RVP and Fabregas proved to be the bane of Arsenal today so far. Hopefully we can still pull through. At least get a draw... Our midfield is better...we should have capitalized on that Go gunners!
|
so.. united over arsenal again
what else is new?
|
Even with a missed penalty Manu still pulled ahead of Arsenal. Wenger has some bad subs today. Should have let Berdner on instead of Van Persie. Farbregas was a big let down today too. All in all ManU for the champion!!!!

Quite a poor game from both sides but a deserved result for United, the second half of this season will be very interesting.

But Park had a very good second half today, doing what he does best, keep running and intercept Arsenal play.

That was a floating bloop of a header. It was great effort, I mean, cheers to him for making the most out of it, but that has to have been at least 50% luck. Falling backwards, nothing on it, can't really call it nice, imho.

Very lucky with the goal, and there was no way that should have been a penalty - it was justice to see Rooney blaze it over. But still Arsenal didn't threaten the Man U goal and it was a fair result between two hard-working but wasteful teams - how many misplaced passes were there? Also Sczesny (sp?) had a good save against Anderson, didn't look at all fazed by the occasion. Good introduction to Premiership life.
Here's hoping with a fully fit again RVP and Fabregas they can overturn this and finally get some silverware :D

I would like to say
MAAAZEEEEEEEMBEEEEEEE!!11!1
Many of you dont know, but the FIFA Club World Cup is being played this month. As of today, the great rival (Internacional) for the team I root for (Grêmio) just lost 2x0 to Mazembe, a horrible team from Congo. Result: Internacional is OUT! bwahaha
Tomorrow Seongnan, from South Korea will be playing against Internazionale. Rooting for the koreans!!
Seongnan FIGHTING!!~~

Quite a lot of talk about Ancelotti coming to Roma at the end of the season. Would like that very much. ^__^

Howard Webb is a truly awful referee

Wenger just needed a reason to play Fabianski over Almunia without suffering any backlash.
