Chelsea vs. Arsenal tmr! I'm pumped for this game but so disappointed that yet AGAIN, all arsenal's top players are injured. their medical team must suck some serious ass. I am expecting a 3-1 chelski win but HOPING arsenal can pull something out of the bag and surprise me.

agreed; shame arsenal's missing fab and van persie and walcott and not to mention vermaelen.. otherwise it'd be a lot harder for chelsea to win (which I think they still will)

i'm guessing 2-0 chelsea but i reaaally hope arsenal can somehow pull through lol

Roma have failed so hard in all away games so far this season. And Totti, you desperately need to find your form again.

Arsenal should have been up 1-0 in the first 8 minutes but blew it . I'm actually happy of the way they are playing right now, they are not missing much, you can feel it. Also Diaby's ankle looked soo bad from the 50 50 with essian i think =\. he's probably out again for another 6 weeks if not more.

Anyways great goal by drogba, but other than that chelsea didn't do much so I hope Arsenal catch an early break and tie it up fast

So De Jong is at it again, he should have been severely fined for the karate kick against Xabi Alonso in the WC, this fucking douchebag is the cancer of football, he only kicks the shit out of his opponents.

They didn't, it was Malouda in between them that moved to make way for that great freekick from Alex.

no he didn't; i'm pretty sure that there was just no one behind malouda; i remember the commentator saying arsenal should've had someone behind malouda.

i think it was just arshavin and koscielny or someone standing beside him;

I'm actually happy how Arsenal played. Just lack a little and I mean just a little thing. The second goal was stupid. Song moved out of the way and arshavin didn't go behind the chelsea player. The wall was garbage.

I hope Arshavin gets injured or leaves the club, he's great at shooting, but he doesn't appear to know how to beat defencemen 1on1, his passing in our own half is non existant or to the other team and he puts himself in a very tight position which closes the play on his teammates =(.

Anyways I'm happy for Chamakh who played EXCELLENT, could have easily scored 2-3 goals (headers) but needs to shoot more when he gets the ball to his feet. He needs to try and turn and shoot or simply run WITH the ball and shoot.

Fabianski played very well and I mean very well. It's hard to blame him for the loss, he actually saved arsenal on 1-2 occasions, I'm actually proud of him :D.

The Arsenal defense was great and VERY tightly organized, the offside traps worked great. Arsenal players in general played well. The youngest one on the pitch Wilshere will be a monster by the end of the season and showed great skills and has a bright future.

One thing I'm happy about is that slowly Arsenal are showing signs of a team that HATES losing. That's always something positive and usually translates into championship, let's hope for that.

agreed on so many points

arshavin was almost non-existant in the game (granted i started watching from 30 minutes on).. he looked out of it and he can be such a crafty player, but often times he seems like he lacks the motivation to win.

chamakh did indeed play great. he's sooooo strong in the air and i only see that now lol. wilshere's a big talent, and overall arsenal played great. i was surprised that the defence was rather good.. the first goal was just.. drogba lol. and second goal as well.. what can you say besides the wall was stupid and alex's shot was craaaaazy. a few lapses here and there, but it's arsenal. nasri's also playing rather well which i'm very glad for.

i think they're starting to have the grit teams need when they need to grind out a win or a draw.
but they're still lacking. again, they couldn't score against chelsea. but, overall i think it was a decent performance.

disappointed that arsenal couldn't even score one though.

chamakh played well? wtf? IMO he was the difference today... in a NEGATIVE way. we should have been 1-0 up within 2 mins but he's useless. he missed a run and wasted a PERFECT pass by nasri. then when wilshere passed to him with an open goal he took like 3 touched before ramires tackled him, WTF?

those errors aren't completely inexcusable, but he's a god damn striker. as i've said before and ill say it again... the need for a PROPER striker at arsenal is more than the need for a goalkeeper IMO.

beside the fact that rvp is ALWAYS injured, he's more of a second striker... and chamakh is basically a 2nd striker who happens to be good at heading. if we had a good finisher today we could've scored at least 3. too bad chamakh is useless

Barca are dominating so hard. It's just 1-0, but the last time they showed possession stats they had literally 90% (!). XD
