or hyper, I know those two mean the opposite of eachother but I dunno if this sort of medical problem is caused by deficiency or too much whatever hormone.

Seems like a really high release clause for a manager, but Villas-Boas has been really impressive this season so I suppose there is reason for the high release fee. It's funny because I can distinctly recall Villas-Boas saying that he wanted to stay at Porto when Chelsea interest first started. I always could have sworn that Hiddink would be the new manager, but I guess not. In other news, Chelsea seem to be really pushing to get Modric and with Modric's recent comments that he wanted to move to Chelsea because he wanted to play Champions League football and wanted to stay in London, it looks all the more likely. Spurs seem to be putting up a fight, but I think he'll go for roughly 35 million pounds or so.

Seems like we will have Barcelona vs Santos in the FIFA WC... Santos defence is weak, I don`t see how they could possibly handle Messi & friends, I predict Barcelona 3x0 Santos in a future final, it is if Santos get past Peñarol :x

Furthermore, they have been in talks to get Lukaku and if they do get Falcao, some players would have to move (most probably Drogba and Anelka). I know that Kalou had shown discontent at playing behind Torres throughout the season so adding more forwards wouldn't help very much. I don't think Chelsea will be pursuing Neymar at this point given the enormously high price tag on him when he is an unproven talent who might not adapt well to the Premier League.

The Major League Soccer Disciplinary Committee today suspended Real Salt Lake midfielder Jean Alexandre for one game and fined him $500 for an egregious and reckless tackle that endangered the safety of his opponent in the 49th minute of the match against D.C. United on June 18, 2011. Alexandre will be suspended for Real Salt Lake’s June 22, 2011 against the Chicago Fire. Yet nothing on Davies, admittedly, taking a dive for a penalty shot and costing RSL two points. Source

there were a lot of rumors that people like anelka, kalou, malouda can leave the squad this summer. Though floran wants to end his career in chelsea, but i heard blackburn and arsenal was interested in kalou and anelka can go to MLS. i just hope torres will be good next season.

Though floran wants to end his career in chelsea, but i heard blackburn and arsenal was interested in kalou and anelka can go to MLS. i just hope torres will be good next season. The problem is that Chelsea play far better when they play 4-3-3 than they do when they try to play 4-4-2. Last year, when they tried to accommodate both Torres and Drogba, they looked poor and could not link up well. Torres and Drogba play best as the single striker in the 4-3-3 and moving them out to the wing would render them relatively ineffective (Drogba was anonymous against Spurs at home this year when he played on the right wing). The problem with bringing in falcao is that he also played as the single striker in Villas-Boas' Porto formation throughout their league and Europa League campaigns. Unless Falcao can play on the wing (which he will take time to adapt to), having 3 separate single strikers would be extremely problematic for the club. Whereas Kalou and Anelka can play on both wings and as the solitary striker, Drogba cannot, which seems to indicate that with his age as well, he would probably have to leave. Of course Anelka and Kalou might leave to make space for Sturridge/Kakuta, but thats another issue.

What right winger would be available that wouldn't cost megabucks or would be fiercely held by their team? Plus, I'd rather see Kakuta develop into that role given the new Home-grown rules that are coming into place.
