What makes this season such an achievement for United is that on paper its not a particularly strong team in comparison at the start of the season. I would have predicted 2nd/3rd at the start of the season and a quarter final appearance in CL as about the limit. But the squad has really gelled and come through for each other this year, salvaging a lot of results through pure grit and determination, and that says a lot about Ferguson who I believe is the best manager anywhere of this generation. Yea they have had a bit of luck in places but every winner always does.

Schwarzer... god damn man. Whole back line looks terrible. Murphy showing his age. Hopefully they put Zamora on in the second have for Gud. Dempsey needs to either involve himself in the buildup more or tell his teammates to get him the ball on the flank.

What a fitting way to end it. Brede with a bad challenge, other defenders slow to step up, and a great shot by Maxi. Schwarzer could have done better as well.

i hope so too, if they do keep this team they are going to be a strong contender for sure.
