Yeh best of a bad bunch. Everyone had a shite season just united had a slightly less shite one. (don't expect most of them to agree though).
You were 18 points ahead at HT at SB and today if Chelsea won we woulda gone top.
Stellar season you're having. Sweeping the league. Truth hurts etc. Call me a 'butthurt hater' all you want, doesn't change anything. People thought winning the league on 86 points last year was a bit low.
Fact of the matter is that everyone has had a crap season.
I don't think they've played too well this season, but most of that is when away. They've been really good at home this whole season, dropping only 2 points

The only Fact that matters is that we have nearly won the Title...people called it the Shittest Team , Weakest Squad and still the Title is within our grasp..Says a lot about your Lot.. Still you said it quite right , Truth Hurts and you are a "butthurt hater".
I think it's pretty awesome for the league that the winners are going to end up with less than 85 points or whatever. it's been a good PL season - chelsea looked completely dominant at first, then had a really long slump and at the end became title contenders again. Arsenal been up there constantly until the very end. United looked amazing at home and terrible away. The ever-important fourth spot being a constant battle until the end. the relegates still not being determined..
Basically, I vastly prefer the PL situation over the situation in at least one other of the top two european leagues, even if the top one or two teams in that one other league have been performing at a higher level.
There's been no excellent teams in the PL this season, still on average i'd say it has the highest average standard of teams considering most other leagues consist of 1 or 2 teams worth mentioning.
Excellent results this week for me, City losing, United winning. Premiership is as good as won, now I shall be a massive Stoke City and Spurs fan for the rest of the season.
One thing to remember, United and Chelsea both have had some critical injuries affect their form during the season. Maybe we'd be looking at one of the teams finishing with 85-90 points were it not for that?
But overall yes, lots of inconsistency from all the top clubs.
However it's been a lot of fun with some teams like Tottenham and Blackpool. tbh I hope the title is wrapped up before the Blackpool game at OT, wouldn't mind seeing them win that if it keeps them in the league. Fun team to watch.
and its Hilarious how Liverpool fans try to defend by showing the 5 European Titles , just like they did with the 18 English titles..Look what happened :D.
If your gonna be like, lets start bringing in fa cups and taking into account that the CL was pretty easy back in the shankly days. Point still stands that united are about to become the most domestically successful club in England, and debatably the most successful of all time in the English game.

THIS.
Even the match itself was better than the much more hyped El Clasico. All 3 United Chelsea matches recently had much better quality of football than the four El Clasicos put together. Yet people somehow talk as if the Spanish League produces better football than the PL.
Also, given that none of the teams have been the best has made for one of the most exciting seasons so far. Chelsea might've had a nice shot had they not been stupid enough to sack Wilkins and buy Torres at the behest of their manager. Arsenal may have had a good shot had they not been Arsenal and choked when it most mattered.
Fact of the matter is, United have been the most consistent when it mattered. During the run-in in March, April and May. And we've beaten Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool twice at home this season which says something about our home form more than anything else.
The psychological barrier may have prevented us from getting better results away from home but none of it matters now. What matters now and what has always matters is that United have the 19th now and are the fucking perch. More importantly, I can safely say that we look closer to 20 than Liverpool look to 19. We're constantly moving forward and they're moving backward.
ROFL! Football can be so cruel sometimes. I was just watching the last 10 minutes of Derby della lanterna (the derby between Genoa and their bitter rivals Sampdoria). Sampdoria desperately needed to win (they're in the relegation zone), and the score was 1-1. Samp were trying their best to pressure and score a winner vs a defensive 10 man Genoa. Then when the clock is at 96:10 something (6 minutes overtime were announced) Genoa pokes up and scores a goal out of nothing. XD I'm so happy I'm not a Sampdoria fan right now.
