I can understand how that would be frustrating for Schalke fans. If they do get knocked out of the competition at Old Trafford though, people's overriding memory of their campaign will be the victory over Inter.

Giggs just became the oldest player to score in a CL match. He was crucial to get past Chelsea last round, assisting on all 3 goals. Amazing that he's still got it, truly among the most legendary players in United's history.

There are a lot of rumours for sure. There's been a lot of talk here in Holland that it was almost certain that Stekelenburg from Ajax would be his replacement. It's been awefully quiet at that front the last few months though, I suppose it doesn't help that he broke his thumb a few weeks ago and is sidelined for months.

According to the daily mail (lol) the replacement is De Gea and the deal is pretty much "done" this being daily mail I highly doubt it is in anyway, I personally loved how they linked pretty much every decent keeper in europe to man united then said "We told you so" when apparently the De Gea deal was done :d

As a fan I would probably want Neuer / Lloris :d or Ferguson to pull a miracle and keep VDS playing

my god, Chicarito was so wasteful thou. Kid has no first touch and cant pass the ball. His placement in the box is world class on the other hand. Was really weird actually seeing him giving such a good pass to Rooney. Chica is still so young and must improve a lot.

He was wasteful but I thought he played quite well

It was one of the most convincing performances by United I've seen for a while, especially away

Would love for Neuer to be VDS's replacement, hopefully Ferguson having a talk with him before/after match, although he'll probably go to Bayern
