Was really weird actually seeing him giving such a good pass to Rooney. Chica is still so young and must improve a lot. Really? I watched the entire game and i thought he played well. Played his role and didn't lose the ball as far as i can remember.
Valencia, Rooney, Giggs, JSPark, Carrick, Ferdinand all played like beasts imo

I thought he played well but was overshadowed by some of the others, But tbh he's been absolutely amazing for his first season in English football, fantastic buy, who'll hopefully only get better.

Hernandez was superb and not very wasteful at all, they were all half chances imo giggs on the otherhand shot wide thrice i believe. very unlike him.
Schalke were absolutely dire. pretty sure all 4 english teams could have beaten them if they played like they did tonight. no pressing on carrick or ferdinand yet gave rooney and giggs so much space between the lines. you really can't play like that against uniteds 4-4-1-1ish system and get away with that

well it was a matter of time to be honest, Neuer can't stop 10 straight up goal opporutnities

well, the whole pub I was in was yelling at Chica for the missed chances, not only that but he just missed obvious passes and kept the ball for too long, or just passed it wrong. He is amazing at making runs and placing himself in the box, but I just wished Rooney like double himself cause he is good at what Chica does AND passes the ball AND has a way better vision on the game AND has a great first touch. Its alright Hernandez missed 3-4 chances for 20 minutes but in a match vs Real or Barca thats what the whole team is going to produce for the entire game

Two great saves by Neuer though, let's not forget him. I think you're being pretty hard on him though.

I agree on the principle that it's a shame there's only one Wayne Rooney.

yea Chicharito was a bit wasteful but i personally think he did really well last night. His constant moving around the box created ton of space for his teammates to one-on-one with Neuer. Of course it was also largely aided by the poor performance of Shalke's defenders. The score should have been 4-0 if it weren't for Neuer's S-class goalkeeping skill

Bit off topic, but can anyone confirm Ryan Giggs as the EPL player who got a court order to stop the press exposing his affair with a previous Miss Wales winner (Imogen Thomas)?

I've heard it is.
Don't understand how they can give court orders to some players, but overturn others so quickly.

Im disappointed so many mancheter fans where there was an EPL game in the most critical part of the league last night. My team lost 3-0 to Stoke, which still leaves the bottom of the EPL wide open for anyone to go up or dowen..this season is tight but i think wolves are definitely down

Wolves have had some bad luck. I have no idea how Stoke are doing so well. It's like watching a potato sell for £100.

Mou probably has something up his sleeves. Ade and Higgy will definitely go in at some point

He's just gonna play the same style as in the previous 2 matches (and that in home turf, shame shame).
Hope Barça plays better this time around and destroys that anti-football style and I hope Pepe gets sent off this time for his first red card offense so we at least won't have to see him butcher people in the return leg.
Gogo Barça! Hoping to see Afellay in the second half!
