How can a referee just spoil an entire round, and on a larger scale an entire competition just with a lawsy lawsy refereeing. Awful... The two yellows van persie got were uncalled for, little cirurgical fouls here and there keeping Arsenal in the back, Abidal should have been sent off for strangling van persie...
Barcelona was the better team this game, but that doesn't erase the Awful job that Massimo Busacca did...

The only stat that matters is that it was 3-2 to Arsenal on aggregate when RVP was sent off.

Exactly the same thing happened in the last leg; Barce dominated possession and the game in the first half but Arsenal came back in the second half.

Overall, I am disappointed today...not by our loss...but the ref just totally dampened my night..
And I don't care about the stats...we could have won even with 0 attempts at goal. It isn't like Inter did any better..

If the referee had acted correctly, RVP would have been out in the first half for slapping Alves in the face and Barça would have had a death penalty to convert. I really can't see why everybody is whinning here.
