the life of a tank in solo que right now is sooo bad.. me: ban kog maw please him: nah, no reason too Bans: Taric, Morgana, Amummu, Ez other team: takes kog maw me(last pick) meh: team takes 4 meh non tank toons me takes jungle malphite me starts 3-1-5 kog maw gets fed kog maw rips me in half in 2 seconds.  Dude our tank sucked, he died in like 2 seconds every time! yawn | ||

Dude our tank sucked, he died in like 2 seconds every time! yawn i dont think kog is worth to ban and you lose bc your team dont have enough tank + initial? compare to kog, taric morg amumu and ez are way more dangerous in both team fight and lanes. They are top tier champ atm, the higher elo you get to, the more you see them getting banned. about Kog, even if he maxed out items, he is so paperthin with no HP what so ever. as soon as your team attack from the right angle, he is a guarantee kill just as much as eve. | ||

or pick any of the champs intended to displace ranged carries. alistar, blitz, urgot, singed, rammus all have the ability to take a few hits from kog as they run in and pull him out of position. if you're losing to kog maw it's because you're losing a position battle. if you *let* him stand behind 4 tanky champs he's going to have a field day. if you don't have one of the above champs or someone similar, the best way to avoid an extremely fed carry is to just avoid 5v5's. push all 3 lanes at one time. if they gank 1 lane, you get 1 or 2 towers in another lane. if they push 5 down the middle, send 2 to push side lanes and 3 to defend. just don't force a fight you can't win. like honestly this sounds counterintuitive but i've been having a ton of success in solo queue by taking champs that have high dps, and taking teleport. i stay on the opposite side of the map as my team at all times, and any time a fight breaks out (a)it's a 5v4, i get a free tower (a1)and my team gets wiped, they're bad, we were going to lose anyways (a2)and my team holds our tower/dragon/baron/inhib (b)the other team sends someone to deal with me and (b1)i kill them because i'm a carry, and get a free tower (b2)they scare me off the tower, but my team wins the 4v4 (b3)they scare me off the tower and my team loses the 4v4 because they fucking suck and we were going to lose anyways (c)the other team disengages because i've done this 3 times and i'm pushing their inhib while they dick around, our tower is now safe i dunno seems to work okay | ||

And yes, what your describing is the way I play kayle except without the teleport part.. it's great for solo que, cause not only can you solo push and tear apart people that show up.. you can also really turn around team fights with high dps and your ult By no means am I arguing OMG It's Kogmaw !!!! Ruuuuunnnn!!! Bannnn!!!! Unstoppable! Can't be beat!... but at my elo, and pretty much solo que in general, toons like kog are pretty bad just cause the coordination is so low and they can just destroy uncoordinated team fights.. with kogs range you just stand behind, press w and shoot at nearest target .. Ive been playing a little bit of kog lately and it's quite nice, even when your tanks aren't very good | ||

I would assume team liquid players would be above average with some exceptions.. like me I'm pretty average . But most people that play competitive starcraft etc I would assume some of those skills and competitive nature/drive too be good. Also starcraft takes this thing called thinking, and I don't see the average LoL player do much of it... where it actually helps when making decisions during a game | ||
