Mech Commander 2 is my favourite, I've replayed it oh so many times. Infact, I'm going to have tor replay it when Sc2 beta is down now =D

Mech Commander 2 Trailer

Fully customizable mechs, use weapons ranging to small machine gun and flamer arrays, small and large lasers to full on Clan Gauss rifle tech, Long range missles, artillery and my personal favourite - PPC Particle cannons. Use famous mechs ranging from the small Razor back and Raven to the massive Atlas and Blood Asp.

Fun gameplay, Not bad graphics its age is starting to show but still well worth the play.
Also has an awesome sound track.

I have both on CD from wayback when but havnt been able to play Mech Commander Gold because it wont run on XP 64 >:C If anyone knows of a fix or work around I'd be very appreciative (Compatability doesnt work, it never works for me :/ its almost like it doesnt do anything at all)

Barkley Shut Up and Jam: Gaiden is a comedy RPG set in a post apocalyptic world where basketball is banned. Battles involve Mario-RPG style timing actions, and encounters are avoidable. The soundtrack and humor are definitely the best parts of this game. Barkley Shut up and Jam:Gaiden takes about 4-5 hours of playtime.

Yes, the newest - Tribes: Vengance has a SP, its pretty good. Where as I believe the other two are pretty much MP only, I know Tribes 2 is MP only or with Bots.

For anyone who loves old school SNES age turn based RPGs, I found this really cool game just today that uses the RPG Maker 2003 engine. It's called Hero's Realm, and it's possibly the greatest game ever created on a RPG Maker platform. It has an absolutely huge world with nearly limitless side quests. The Jazz Jackrabbit series was pretty awesome. It is two player (though maybe the first one isn't I don't remember) and my brother and I used to play it quite often when we were younger. It is highly recommended to play it with two people.

The game-play is similar to Earthworm Jim and Mega Man, but the characters and enemies are pretty funny

Try it out if you want.

Also, if you go to the xgenstudios website, the games "Fishy" and "Defend your Castle" are very addictive (though the fishy game does have an ending).

In any case, it's not free now, and we've definitely heard of it.

On a side note, I've also heard of all but one of the 2D games mentioned so far and played over half of them. But I don't think anybody's complaining except me, so I'll let it all slide except for maybe Portal.
