What does that matter if they are All Stars? No one in their right mind even thought Jameer Nelson was better than Rondo. TP wasn't playing at his old level either.

Then consider that Jameer Nelson made the team and Rondo got snubbed largely because people kept thinking "The Big 3" made Boston. A few months later everyone realized how wrong they were.

Were still talking about 2008 right? Rondo never got snubbed in 08, that was 09 when everyone thought that. Also I don't recall anyone saying rondo made Boston in 2008 for their championship.

boston 2008 playoffs is when i started following basketball, and rondo has been my favourite player ever since. Not saying i have an eye for superstars or anything (i also like rudy fernandez lolz) but i always thought his hustle, and his nose for the ball was excellent, the way he made ray allen get the ball in great location for his rhythm threes, or how he was willing to make sacrificial plays to paul pierce to get him rolling. He is like a miniature Kevin Garnett, and the connection they have on the floor is amazing.

This year when everyone was like "omg rondo" i was sort of like "ya, guard triple double threat for the past 2 years".

Well, he used to hit those at a good percentage. See 2008 game 7 celtics vs cavs. Now I hear he's way under 40% for those long 2's.

The Celtics always play well the first quarter then get worse as the game goes on, like the lakers.

From Boston, but I just can't back a team that mails it in for most of the season even when they're healthy and think they're going to play the same as 2 years ago. They don't deserve to go to the finals, they don't even deserve to be a notch on an elite team's playoff belt.
I'm pretty sure by now Nate Robinson isn't as useful as Eddie House, Rasheed deserves to be benched for the rest of the season except as a 3 point decoy.

Rondo, Tony Allen, and Ray Allen are the only bright spots. It's not Pierce and Garnett's fault, but they just aren't the same players anymore. Where's the Celtic's Jamario Moons or George Hills or insert surprisingly effective young Jazz role player.

Jamario moon is terrible though. But their "George Hill" is actually Big Baby. Problem is he just isn't focused enough and screwed up a couple of key 4th quarter possessions like HOLDING ON TO THE REBOUND.

Celtics definitely didn't find much in recent drafts like a lot of other teams did.

Uh that's because they didn't get any 1st rounders for 06 and 07...looking at their history they certainly know how to draft, but they don't know how to keep their guys...Al Jefferson, Joe Johnson, Chauncey, Delonte West, Dahntay Jones, not to shabby at all.

I'm pretty bummed that Boston blew it T__T! Seriously they let Mo Williams get hot and Shaq just did w/e he wanted in the paint. I'll live with LeBron hitting 3's the way he did in the 4th, he can't do that every game... but seriously they need to shut down Mo and Shaq - make LeBron score 50 a game to beat you, but don't let the role players win the game.

Jamario Moon defends decently, finishes above the rim, and is an ok 3 point shooter. The prototypical role player, like Pietrus or Tony Allen. Those two pick up a ton of stupid fouls though.

Glen Davis has a lot of heart, but he gets stuffed so often around the rim due to his lack length/ups. He's most useful as a moving wall between the basket and the post player.
