Actually, 69% is quite awful, unless your a center.

The lakers as a whole couldn't shoot fts, if they made their freethrows they prolly would have won the game.

Admittedly, I'm a bit biased towards the lakers being from San Diego, but the previous 4 games I felt the lakers pretty much had control of the game. The celtics were able to pull off the win tonite because the celtics had solid numbers from their stars, out hustled the lakers, and most importantly no one besides kobe on the lakers produced.

Like I said before this game and after Game 1 - the Lakers have good reason to be concerned.

In fact, California and Michigan (lolwut?) are the only two states with a majority vote favoring the Lakers.

Since crushing the Lakers in '04, any animosity from the Magic era has disappeared.

It actually did, you can even see the net move. Okay suppose it did...but every replay they showed could go either way. The referees made the first call that it was lakers ball. If they had the same replays as the commentators, they just do not have concrete evidence to overturn the call. The ball changing spin and direction in mid air isn't concrete evidence? Physics don't lie. There were two angles where you could clearly see the ball change in spin before it is anywhere near the glass. It hit the glass and then went in another direction. The ball was behind the net. There's no way to prove that without a replay. We could argue for days and find out absolutely nothing without a replay. Fan-boyism would overwhelm us. See ya at home. Didn't I just say that TWO different slow motion replays (which I watched on a humangous tv screen) very clearly show the ball changing direction and spin when it passes the rim, clearly before it hits the glass? Fanboyism has nothing to do with what happened. In other news, I'll be happy if Kobe keeps taking those low percentage (or high percentage if you're Kobe >.<) shots all day instead of dishing the ball to Gasol or whoever. It seemed like he was trying to force through points, successfully mind you, but that won't always work. Team Basketball > Superstars any day of the week.

And Bynum's knee, just goes to show you that feeling your knee give (a la Paul Pierce) is never something you should take lightly. And when is Hall of Fame coach Phil Jackson going to make the adjustments to open up the paint? Wasn't he supposed to have solved this issue Oklahoma game 6?
