Dark fucking Wesker rises

Level 2 Wesker with an Akuma assist is even better than a level 3 Wesker. Thank you marvel 3?

3000 each for AE and MVC3 + 100 for placing in top 8 in each(50 a piece).
so $6100

I dunno how much he made. That said I was tlaking with Louis Vigil aka Offcast earlier, and he said he's 100% sure that Latif and Justin split the pot, and very very likely that Combo and Justin split the top two also. Reason being Justin has to pay EG like 10% or something small like that of prize money made up to the price of travel and hotel and whatever. He doesn't really care about the difference in money there, he just wants to win the big events to keep his name relevant. He has a nice full time job at Nexon and makes a good amount from EG so prize money isn't the concern for him.

How much was 2nd place for both games? Since like I said, almost guaranteed that he split.

- $3,000.00, 1st Place
- $1,500.00, 2nd Place
- $500.00, 3rd Place
* Each of the four qualification tournament winners will receive $50.00 in gift cards or equivalent value

It's the same for sf4 and mvc3

Does he have a stable salary with EG? Like monthly/yearly money? Or some sort of contract?

Sorry, just curious. :D

i believe it. last Summerjam he gave part of his winnings to spooky for more stream shit, and then when him floe/marn came up here for NEC last year, they's topped by the break and jsutin gave all his winnings that night to jaxel for better stream equipment

dude's always giving back, whether its knowledge or some cash to improve shit

That was a nice tourney to watch.

I just moved to Phoenix this week and was without steady internet access for a bit, so sadly I didn't even realize this was being held right down the road from me -_- O well, next year!

Mad props to JWong, he really was on point with street fighter and seemed to just apply his magic to marvel and take it home. Besides the lucky (star sense) storm ultimate on phoenix assist, he really owned Viscants phoenix... and has some great synergy with his squad. That level 2 wesker with akuma back up and DHC glitch storm was so nice.

Ultimate is gona be so hype!

So it seems like he made about 4500 dollars from Marvel and AE today.

Yes he receives a stable salary from EG, monthly, as a part of his contract. The exact amount is unknown and under NDA so only people that work directly with that contract would know but rumors are that its a pretty healthy amount, not as much as what Idra/Puma/Huk make but definitely a beyond competitive and fair amount for who he is, and surely it is the most of anyone in the fighting game community.

Yeahhhhh dude I remember that, he and Marn tore up the break weekly and were like, giving their prize money to the streamers and organizers since it didnt' really matter to them for that tournament, since they were there prepping for the bigger event that weekend or something.

I also know that every tournament he goes to he's never shy about sharing technology of the game, giving people tips and stuff, like last year and this year when they went to ARK the arkansas tournament, as well as Canada Cup last year, they show up to those events and are really great for the community, teaching people how they approach the game and stuff, its really awesome to see the guy who is the most recognizable dude in the community giving back so much.

That hailstorm was funny. Viscant basically had .5 seconds to realize that his nix would get slammed if he blocked. She would have lived if he had taken the hit as wesker, but it's so hard to realize that in the moment.

I run a similar team (storm/wesker/sent). Justin is what gives me motivation to keep at it with storm, I definitely didn't think she was as good as he makes her look until he started using her.

Fun to watch tournament, good buildup for season's beatings next weekend, which if you're a marvel player/fan at all you 100% NEED to watch. Season's beatings IS marvel.
