I've never followed a decent 4 city Trad opening, but it's supposed to be good from what I hear. On the other hand, I'm off to my best start ever with what is so far a faceroll with ICS. Almost stupid broken imo, so that change sounds like it would help fix that at least. :D Although you can probably get a quicker win if you're good at going tall I guess.

Playing G&K? They went to great lengths to virtually nerf ICS into oblivion.

Yeah G&K, didn't know they already nerfed it. :D Using this strategy and is working well so far in my game.

Usually its either 3 cities because the ai is too close and then catchup or some kind of rush on the nearest ai.

Yeah, I agree. I very rarely bother planting 4 cities before NC. It's just too dangerous in most situations.

Anyone noticed, in the us, predownloads yet?
|
why didnt they release it for the long weekend god damnit, i want to play now, not in another 48 hours.
|
Ohh no, you have to wait 48 hours.... How sad..
I only have to wait till the 12th, because fuck Europe apparently!
|
thats what you get for all your sweet free healthcare and university education!
|
You gotta love Canada then (let's say Quebec for University, not sure how much higher it costs elsewhere).
|
In Denmark they get *paid* to go to University, we only get 'relatively' affordable tuition compared to the Americans. Which is why I assume Firaxis is taking revenge for us all on Europe.

WTF is this:
"This game will unlock in approximately 1 day and 11 hours"
Just unlock past midnight EST!
|
I'm still waiting for GMG to send me a key to pre-load the game. =(
|
Haven't much experience with GMG for steam activated pre-order. Maybe they send you automaticaly on release.

So apparently nobody knows when BNW is coming out. Steam says the 8th, which is less than two hours away, but it also says it unlocks in 26 hours which would be the 9th.

CoH2 unlocked on Tuesday. That was the last steamworks game to be released to my knowledge.

New games are always released on Tuesdays at midnight. In other words, we gotta wait another 25 hours.

So a bit less than 24 hours from now.
