would the superstar from memphis really have been a good fit in...memphis?? i duno, you got so many scorers already and evans is basically a scorer himself (but a very unselfish one at that). though i admit he'd definitely be an upgrade over conley and would make for a very exciting team with all that talent and athleticism.
so i was looking through the standings in the nba recently, for the east, the top 8 didn't surprise me, but 9 and 10 did, new york and milwaukee over washington/detroit/philly/indy
yes i know its early and the standings are quite close but still, not the two teams i would have picked to potentially "just" miss playoffs at any point in the season
Any team that is ok doesn't surprise me, like the bucks. Detroit and Washington and Philly are garbage. New York is borderline garbage, but they sometimes pull these wins out of their ass. I thought the pacers were ok, but they've been so forgettable for years that I stopped paying attention.
And having said that now I check the rankings and point differentials... yup Bucks' differential is better than say the Raptors. Knicks are better than I expected, Pacers worse.
Most advanced stats have detroit full of below average players right now.

Hoping pau gets hurt is hoping for the lakers to be 1st round out.

yeah and that too but seriously, i wouldn't want any harm on anyone.
edit: good to know pau's injury isn't that serious. but i fully expect bynum to make the most of it.
It kinda looks like he was making too much fun of Crittenton, and then pulled out a joke in poor taste. I don't know if he'll get in any particular legal trouble (except if there's a law forbidding laws in lockers? but I'm fairly sure that's more an NBA thing not a legal thing), but he'll probably get hammered by the NBA, I'm guessing just to be made an example of.
OKC are nowhere near consistent enough to pull off 4 wins v the Lakers in the playoffs. They'd really need Westbrook and Durant to have consistent massive games and I can't see it happening.
