I was also not around the BW scene for Savior's dominance, but I've watched a lot of the VODs of his play (including the ones in this article) and I'm always just amazed. I really wish we could see him play again, but I'm not even sure where I stand on allowing him to return to pro gaming.

This is simply the best strategical analysis write-up of its kind I can ever remember reading. Amazingly done, the links to the exact times in the VODs you were discussing were awesome.

very good read, thank you very much. i read about the older progamers before i got a little into the bw pro scene, and savior always seemed like someone i woulda wished i could see. this article just reaffirms that thought

even beyond the match fixing, credit goes where credits due. and this article did just that.

Really good read, I didn't actually read the part beginning in the "Maneuvering" but I'll read it later. (lazy)

From the very few VODs of his games that I have watched, I'm amazed. I have an 'untrained eye' but my knowledge of IRL army maneuvers/ tactics is what made me amazed. Okay, I don't have the words to describe how amazingly smart it is but yeah, Maestro fighting!!!

I do regret that I discovered the professional BW scene to late to see Savior at his prime. I don't think I will ever be able to fully appreciate how good he was. It's a shame really.

Oh well. I still got Jaedong.

Flash's dominance started after Savior's downfall had already begun, so Savior has a 6-12 record against Flash. It's not really relevant, they're part of different SC eras.
