Have some respect for the overachieving Löw and his team did. Germans need to not have such ridiculous expectations.
Gomez is inexcusable though...
Add Müller and probably Khedira, tho he might retire on his own
No, Müller has been world class for two whole world cups. You can see why he uses Müller.
But GOMEZ? No way in hell
So what, Müller has been horrible since 2016. The only reason Gomez is ther ebecause he has shown some performance in the league and he gives them the option of at least faking high crosses. Müller has done absolutely nothing, but live on glory from 2010 and 2014.
Kind of crazy how strong Germany is that this is the first time they don't make knockouts. Doesn't make it less entertaining for us but that is some crazy consistency.
Low time has come to an end, he won the world cup and did really well throught the years, but i guess is just time ot let it go
specially considering how he did the 23 players, he clearly had like 3-4 players that had no right being in this team (Ozil, Gomez, Plattensomething, etc...)

Müller actually had the most assists in bundesliga 17/18, but you're still right, he is nowhere near his WC 2014 form. Hopefully Werner develops with a bit more experience into the consistent goalgetter we need or maybe someone else emerges. We need a good striker so desperately

The fuck is wrong with you? You don't expect Germany to get out of group stages with one of their best squads in the recent 25 years? I could've coached them 2014 and they would've won. I'm serious. The team itself never overachieved at all, in 2014 they just fielded the single best roster, miles above everyone else. Take that and the fact Löw obviously being a man who prefers loyalty over skill, which should not be an issue in the German team in the first place. There are no Benzemas who will drag everyone down. Never have been really, this is one reason for everyone always praising their team spirit, long before Löw and Klinsmann. Now add taking Gomez with you who did not change AT ALL for TEN FUCKING YEARS and you look at people like Özil and Gündogan who mock the very concept of a national team just right before the tournament starts and you might get the picture. You just don't like that picture and probably starting watching football in 2006.

Could've used him in all 3 games but I doubt he'd make the difference. Germany has been poor in all 3 games and were lucky they didn't concede more goals against Mexico and Sweden and that they scored in the last minute Vs Sweden.
