There is no way things could work out in the final matches of challenge that would put him in the final 3 in his group. The 2 players just above him(Impact v Hush) play on the 23rd and the winner of that would have a better winning percentage in maps than Zest even if he goes 2-0 vs Byun.
Same old story for Zest. His inability to take a map off Impact and Rogue and his loss to Hush 1-2 has frozen him out of another big tournament opportunity. His combined record in maps in SSL events this year is 3-13.
If that's not depressing I don't know what is. Having all the skill in the world but unable to use it because your previous slump dug your grave too deep. Poetically tragic, I suppose.
An 0-2 loss to Byun to finish his SSL challenge competition. 1-3 2-7 in maps, While he was already eliminated you would hope for something better than that.
That means in the 4 matches he played he was shut out 0-2 in 3 of them with the 2-1 win over Hush. Yikes.
"""""""""""""""This is why I said I wouldn't buy into Zest's comeback until he demonstrated it offline. HSC was a start, but this is a setback.""""""""""""""""
You were exactly right. Even in what was supposed to be top form he could not buy a map against Rogue or Byun.
Sorry to post this here but there is no Dark fan club. Huh? Dark just beat Innovation like a dog. Ricky Hatton did not get beat worse by Pacquiao than Inno was beat in that match. 3-0, all the games one sided!
Meh, I tend to not judge players based of matches that don't really matter. He was already eliminated from SSL, in that situation players are well known for playing like trash
When he played ByuN at HSC he looked miles ahead. His form in the finals was disgusting
He actually needs to compete in offline matches at some point. Now we has to wait until Super tourney 2. I guess he's still making money from online cups which is something.
His match against Rogue was his only shot at playing something until then. Once he lost that he was out of SSL.
There is a Master's Coliseum tournament thread. Zest has nothing to do with Dark vs Inno.
Why do you care so much? Seriously why is that so important to you that you have to bother? Are you the Zest fan club police?
So I should write a post like the one Olli wrote where I tout Zest's incredible accomplishments on ladder when he can't get a map offline? That was never said before on this board? It's been said 15 times!!!!
You said it several times!!
You want to read the same regurgitated points over and over again.

He also played on maps that weren't on the ladder. Since he was already eliminated and the games didn't matter I doubt he played custom games on them.

Whoa, calm down there.
I mentioned it because it is simply forum etiquette to post relevant material in relevant threads. That's yknow, the whole point of having a specific thread in the first place.
This thread is the Zest FC, not General Discussion. If you have nothing to post about Zest, don't post here.
since no one here talked about it, Zest won against soO 4:2 today (or yesterday, I didn't go to sleep therefore it's not the new day yet) in a sort of Clan War showmatch. Didn't really follow the games very closely but he played pretty alright. I wonder why he can't win against Rogue in SSL (or even Impact) like come on Zest
or maybe soO is just bad at PvZ, who knows lol

Wow 5 wasted posts in the universe to respond to my one post about Dark toasting Inno 3-0. If you just left it alone there would have just been my one. Nobody has posted on the Dark FC for 2 months that's why it did not show up in the list of FCs. Sad.
Regarding Fango's comment about ZvP. Zest lost to Impact 0-2 also and I'm sure if he played Dark right now in a best of 3 he would be beaten 0-2. He can't handle these elite Zergs most of the time.
