![]() ![]() Source: inven eSports How do you feel about advancing through the qualifiers two season in a row? I’m not really feeling anything special because I advanced through much easier than expected. But the match where I lost against Hack helped me out a lot so I’m satisfied. Hack’s strategies hit me real hard but that match helped me realize how important mentality control is so I’m thankful. You were eliminated much quicker than expected last season. Why was this so? I don’t think I was very much motivated last season so I was lacking in preparation. But for this season, there’s Proleague and I have been practicing a lot so it’s fine for people to have expectations. How did you feel about the switch to the Dual Tournament format for this season? I think the new format allows for the superior players to advance rather than just relying on luck. Any player(s) you want to personally face? I want to face Rain and Soulkey. This season’s goals? No matter what, the championship.

(streamed): ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Very doable group. Reality and Hack are both good in a sneaky kind of way - they're not talked about a lot but have a lot of potential that they'll occasionally live up to. Hack beat Sora in the qualifiers, too, but I think Sora will get back at him if they face off again in Code A. As for DRG, I don't think the two will actually play but if they do, his ZvP is hardly stellar at this point and I'm confident Sora would be able to dispatch him without much trouble. Also, Sora plays Bravo tomorrow as CJ faces SKT. Tough match - Bravo is better than people think (certainly better than Fantaji), but Sora has never really looked troubled against Terran in an offline setting before and I don't see Bravo playing well enough to take him out either.

So yeah I think Sora's PvZ needs some work. He looks good when playing an airtoss style but he seems almost completely incapable of handling SH play ![]()

Koreans will soon start to study him, we'll see if his style can survive that You guys think he will manage to shine in code S? I def see him getting past Ro32 Of course, group picks will be important, I hope de doesn't get too many though terrans :s Useless to say I will watch all of his matches with great apetite in the coming weeks!

![]() ![]() Source: inven eSports, translation courtesy of Seeker How do you feel about advancing to Code S for the first time ever? I was able to get to Code S by taking down the two Terran players, Reality and Hack. I think today was a good opportunity to show everyone my PvT skills. And to DRG whom I lost to today, I will get my revenge in Code S. Why do you think you lost your match against DRG? I would have been fine had I just blocked his early ling aggression with a solid sim city. It should have been an easy defense for me since I also had the MSC, but I couldn’t accurately pinpoint where my buildings would collapse so he broke through. The bottom line is that I let my guard down. Because I lost the first game that way, I think that loss carried over and affected me for game two so it was a complete loss. What did you think after seeing your group? In the case of Hack, I lost against him in the qualifiers. So I prepared with the thought of revenge on my mind. For practice, I practiced together with Bbyong hyung and Bunny. I thought that no matter who I faced, I would be able to advance through. You have a poor record for Proleague. What do you think about this? I think I’m suppressed too much for Proleague because it’s a bo1 format. But I will work hard to use the experience I gained for round one to get good results for round two. For me, bo1s are really difficult. I also am not used to handling all-in builds, so all in all, I think I lack experience. Any particular player you would like to face? I want to face players I’ve never faced before like Classic and Rain. I never got to play against them for Proleague or individual leagues, so I want to face them. If possible, I would like to face a vast variety of players You went for two oracles on frost. How come? The first one died too easily, so I made a second one. Originally, I was only planning on making one. But I had no vision so I had to use that one to scout. But in the end, I think I was able to win because Hack got shaken up a little too easily. Currently, there are a lot of Protosses and Zergs in Code S. Will you be confident from here on out? These days, it feels like Zergs are doing too well. Up till now, I’ve been playing all my mirror matches with no confidence, but now it’s different. Since I have herO hyung as a teammate, I think I can grab the other Protoss players. You stated that your goal was to win the championship. Is there a reason that you have to win no matter what? This time around, the prize pool has grown a lot, and also because I’m not doing so well in Proleague. In order to stack up experience from Code S and do well for round two of Proleague, I have this mentality that I will win the GSL no matter what. I hope that I can keep that kind of performance up all the way until the end of round four. Anything else you would like to say? I want to apologize to the supervisor because even though he trusted me and put me on the roster a lot for Proleague, I haven’t been able to grab good results. So I will make sure I repay the favor through my round two results.
