I'm quite sad. I was really hoping he could take the trophy this time. But i'm also worried. One of my suspicion got confirmed yesterday when he said he doesn't prepare specifically and does not have many practice partners. That's crucial imho to win trophies in such a long tournament. It was clear yesterday that he was caught off guard quite many times, and did not really had answers for Stat's game plan.

soO qualified to GSL Super tournament. He lost to Cure 2-0 in upper bracket semifinal, then went down to beat Byul and Cure 2-1. If he can only barely go trough Cure maybe its a good thing he didn't play the finals vs Maru and overall it is not a good sign..

I'm hoping that he can. But realistically, I think it will be a very quick stomp by Maru. Maru is showing top form right now, defeating Dark, who I think is better than SoO at the moment, in long macro games using great control and multitask. SoO, on the other hand, has been showing lackluster performance. Losing to Special by making uncharacteristic mistakes. He just seems lost at the moment, but I am hoping he will bounce back.

seems like he is still not good enough in ZvT. But honestly i have no clue how the hell is zerg supposed to beat that. Both Ghosts and Raven missiles seems like very unbalanced. Also pure marauder beating ling bane hydra? Did Blizz manage to screw balance again?

There is no curse, he just plays bad. how many drones did he lost vs libs and hellions in those games? also his lack of scouting is also annoying. His game is not improving at all since last year, it's the opposite.

Soo (or with this silly spelling, soO) is a zerg I look up to.

When I, still a noob even though I played SC1 and had SC2 beta access, lose a bad ladder game, I think about Soo and his composure. The only sad thing: My favorite SC2 zerg is still DongRaeGo, so Soo comes in second

That being said, DRG retired, Soo plays. This is what I admire.
